The morning started out dark, hazy, breezy and cool. The lower atmosphere was hazy and was red when illuminated. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with analogous colors peeking over the Sierras and the contrasting dark blue sky. The autonomous vehicle company was not testing their vehicles today but their flood lights were on. The rabbits were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. As the morning progressed the sky brightened and analogous colors radiated out of the suns path: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky. The squirrels appeared after breakfast and were scurrying around begging for food from the inmates. As the sun rise over the Sierras, the reddish sphere illuminated the haze and the outline of the Sierras creating a spectacular sight, Sierras covered with reddish orange haze and the outline of the Sierras. Walked 5 miles and ran the final mile. Completed 6 miles at 7:40 AM, ran the final mile in 8 minutes and 29 seconds. Average running times were 8 minutes and 29 seconds per mile or 1 minute and 25 seconds per lap. Th final mile was fast as I was sweating and had to walk extra laps to catch my breath and to cool down. Felt good after running the final mile. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:50 AM. Th yoga practice felt good after the walk and run, I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and the spectacular sun rise. Opened my eyes to the blue sky. Helped commissary staff to break down boxes.
