Finished walking at 8:00 AM. Stretched at the basketball court until 8:15 AM. The morning walk started out cold, dark with lots of rabbits grazing at the field. The sunrise over the horizon was shielded by some low clouds. After the sun cleared the clouds, it showed its glory and warmed up the air. It was a cold morning and I was the only one out on the trail. The solitude allowed me to plan my day and the Art History class on Tuesday. Towards the end of the walk, the temperature was nice and warmed up. I worked up a good sweat. Dried up and changed to dry T-shirt. Found out from the secretary that there will not be any new incoming inmates for today. Showered at 9:00 AM. Went to sewing room to repair some pants and issue jackets to inmates. Lunch was served at 10:30 AM. Luncheon menu: shredded chicken, tacos, rice, beans, corn and honeydew. Talked to Doris at 10:45 AM: Doris is well and so are the dogs, Mava is working on the front yard. Patches will send a copy of her passport to Doris to process the visitation pass. I told her I will be busy sewing some pants and practicing my Spanish lessons. Went to the sewing room to repair some pants and shirts. Issued 3 3XL shirts to Alvarez. Issued jackets to Victor Rivera, Edgar and Bambino. Sewed wash towels for Nick. Back to the unit at 3:00 PM. Dinner was served at 3:00 PM. Dinner menu: Pull Pork sandwich, beans and Cole slaw. census count at 3:30 PM. Fixed my watch with super glue from Sikes. ACE Classes Philosophy of Existentialism 4-4:30 PM, Art History 3 5-5:30 PM and Life of Muhammad 6-6:30 PM. Managing your Diabetes 7-8 PM. Worked on Spanish lessons in between classes. Oh the reason I did well in yesterday’s exams was I had a nap before the examinations. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census Count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
