Finished walking 6 miles at 8:10 AM. The morning walk started out as a cloudy and overcast sky and temperature was in the 60’s. A light drizzle developed as my walk progressed. The light drizzle was on and off. I practiced my Spanish Estar and Ser pronouns on the track while walking. I memorized the conditions of usage for each pronouns Estar: Location, Health, Changing mood and conditions and Personal opinion of taste and looks. For Ser the conditions were: Description, Profession, Point of origin, Identification, Material, Possession or ownership and places where events are taking place. Worked up a good sweat. Dried up and changed my T shirt and stretched Stretched until 8:30 AM. Started Yoga practice at the laundry room. Finished my Yoga practice at 9:50 AM. It was a really good practice in the laundry room. Went through most of my poses, even worked up a sweat. I was tired but relaxed after the practice. Census count at 10:00 AM. Lunch was served after the count. Luncheon menu: shredded chicken with beans and corn, beans, Cole slaw, bread and banana. Talked to Doris at 10:20 AM: Doris is well but her breathing is labored. The dogs were barking and waiting for her to let them out. They get upset if she is late letting them out. It rained heavily last night in the Bay Area and it is a dreary day today. I told her it drizzled in the morning at Atwater, but is topped drizzling after lunch. I told her I was working on my Spanish lessons and preparing for the Art History teaching class. She will be busy working on her Christmas inventory. She inquired if my watch was broken and she wanted to buy me a new watch for my birthday present. I told her the best present she could give me is to get well and healthy and feel better. Also I need to keep my commissary account low, otherwise they might increase my FRP deductions. I told her I won’t be sewing today as it is the weekend. She and Karlee with Chris will visit on 10/14/2023. Karlee and Chris will spend the night in the house and drive over together on Saturday to visit me.
