The morning call out for food service workers at 5:00 AM. The first group of workers were headed to the Penitentiary by 5:30 AM. The morning started out dark, hazy, breezy and cool. The lower atmosphere was hazy from the Coffee Pot and Boone fires. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with the contrasting dark blue sky and analogous colors peeking over the Sierras with the moon in the mid sky. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. As the morning progressed, the analogous colors radiated out of the suns path: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky. The squirrels appeared after breakfast scurrying around begging for food from the inmates. Walked 3 miles and ran the final three miles. Completed six miles at 7:40 AM, ran the final three miles in 30 minutes and 3 seconds. Average running times were: 10 minutes and one second per mile or 1 minute and 41 seconds per lap. The pace was fast as I had to walk extra laps to catch my breath and to cool down. Stretched, split stretched and practiced yoga at the basketball court until 8:40 AM. The Yoga practice felt good after the run. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Completed my Yoga practice with the corpse pose. Opened my eyes to the Blue sky with the moon in mid sky. Called Doris: Doris is well and they are on their way. They were on I -680 and their ETA was 10:30 AM. Census count at 10:00 AM. Checked email form Doris: Doris is well and rested. She walked 8897 steps, 17.6 inches step length and symmetry was 62%. Yesterday was the 241st consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She will visit me today and Tiffany will drive her to Atwater. she asked me to call her for ETA. Had a short nap. Doris arrived at the visitation at 10:50 AM: Doris is well and the asthma is under control. We had Dry Pepper, potatoes chips and Hershey Chocolate bars and water for snacks. She paid the property taxes and received another bill for over due fees. She was trying to answer some questions for Eric regarding payment of restitution, penalty and interest payment for payment plan. She will send the questions to me and I will answer it for her. She was getting over with the loss of Bobo which affected her greatly. She was glad that Tiffany was able to drive her to visitation today. She has been receiving lots of scam emails and texts. She was able to differentiate them as scams and deleted them. Also there were lots of scam email and text on my phone too and she deleted them too. I told her I will have to pay taxes on the funds withdrawn from my retirement accounts. In addition I will have to pay pates for the bribe which I took. It will be two big tax bills. We just have to manage them and look for opportunity to invest and make the money back, like developing our property. I told her we are waiting for my relocation to be approved before we could send the half way house request. Th relocation should take a few weeks. Then we can talk to Mt Larsen about the Second Chance Act and half way house dat. I told her the best case scenario is December 2024 and worst case is April 2025. CO Martinez was in charge of visitation today. Doris left the visitation at 2:35 PM because Tiffany was late getting back. It was a very good visitation especially after the loss of Bobo.
