First three miles – 38 minutes 42 seconds. Averaged 2 minutes 9 seconds per lap or 12 minutes 54 seconds per mile. Final three miles 35 minutes 58 seconds. Averaged 2 minute per lap or 12 minutes per mile. Nice morning for a brisk walk. Beautiful sunrise, lots of rabbit grazing, I had to dodge the rabbit poop on the track. Regardless of the inconvenience, it was an enjoyable walk as always. Walking pace was pretty good and I worked up a good sweat. Completed walking at 8:00 AM. Stretched until 8:15 AM. Went back to the unit to dry up and change my T-shirt. Had a couple of donuts, saltine crackers, an apple and warm water for snack. Showered at 8:50 AM. Changed to BOP uniform. Medical sick call out t 10:00 AM, They had to reschedule my hearing test in the main penitentiary. They checked my blood pressure it was 142 /72 borderline high but acceptable. They noted that my prostrate medication was causing breathing problems for me. Lunch was served at 10:15 AM. Luncheon menu: hamburger, fries and apple. Went to sewing room to size returned inmate greens and repaired several ripped pants. Talked to Doris at 11:20 AM: Doris is fine and they are in a van driving in Walnut Creek to get enough data for the smog. I told her I received the card from Geok. I received an email from Karlee of their visit on Saturday 9/23/2023. As usual she was thinking that they might put her in a nursing home. I assured her that no such thing is going to happen. They just did not want to drive the extra hundred miles to pick Doris up and dropping her off after visiting me. She read my book report on Neuroscience and it was interesting but some things were too technical for her. She will email me later after the smog is completed and also get Diana or Kein to show her how to use the remote starter located at the side of the key. Went to the library to do some book report. back to the unit at 3:00 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: shredded chicken, carrot with beans, beet, salad and bread. I supplemented the dinner with a packet of Mackerel. Received card from Geok. Walked 6 miles. Attended ACE Classes and Talk to Your Doctor. Talked to medical staff but my hearing test was rescheduled again, blood pressure was okay.
