“9/13/2023 Wednesday daily diry from Atwater Camp.

Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up amy bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 91 degrees F. Breakfast was served at 6:10 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, muffin and apple. Started walking at 6:30 AM.

Plan for today:

  1. Stretch.
  2. Call Doris. 30 Email Daily Diary for 9/12/2023.
  3. Walk 6 Miles.
  4. Quotations.
  5. ACE Classes: Warehouse safety 4-4:30 PM, Hubble Space 5-5:30 PM and Physics beyond the edge 6-6:30.
  6. Talking to your doctor 7-8 PM.

Completed first two miles in 26 minutes and 36 seconds, warm-up walk. Completed the final four miles in 47 minutes 48 seconds. Total 6 miles was 1 hour 14 minutes and 24 seconds. Average time was 2 minutes 4 seconds per lap and 12 minutes 24 seconds per mile. The morning started out with the dawn sky, giving way to to glorious sunrise over the Sierras and the healthy morning sun. It was nice refreshing walk. Worked up a good sweat. The final four miles was under 12 minutes per mile. Finished walking at 7:50 AM. Stretched until 8:10 AM. Changed my wet T shirt. Has some snacks. Cleaned the computer room. Cleaned my walking shoes. Showered at 9:00 AM. Changed to clean BOP uniform. Check the email and replied to Doris. received a call page from the Medical unit for a blood pressure examination. My blood pressure was 146 over 72, it is normal according to the attending physician. Lunch was served at 10:15 AM. Luncheon menu: Cheese Burger, Fries, salad and apple. talked to Doris at 10:40 AM: Doris is well, no asthma attack and is busy in her cave. Should me she is walking better and her stride has improved. It will keep improving, just takes time and effort, Doris is doing a good job improving herself. her eye sight is better and she can see faces of people on the television. That’s is a drastic improvement from a couple of weeks ago. Overall her health has improved, even her asthma has stabilized. She just need tp keep working on her health and well being. Diana told her that a new smog check does not need data from driving to get the Smog check, She will look into it, hope it is true. I told her I was busy cutting up the pants for hemming.

Chris exchanged two pairs of pants. Versace exchanged 3X shirts for 2X shirts, and exchanged 3 pair of 40X30 Pants. Jesse got 3 pairs of XL boxers. He got 2 pairs of XL boxers. Back to the unit at 3:00 PM. Dinner was served at 3:10 PM. Dinner menu: Spaghetti, ground meat, bread, spinach and salad. ACE Classes – Warehouse safety 4-4:30 PM, Hubble Space 5-5:30 PM and Physics beyond the edge 6-6:30 PM. We had an examination for Hubble Space and I passed. Read at the library form 4:30 – 7:00 PM. I completed the ACE Class report for How your body works. Talk to your Doctor class 7-8 PM. Census count at 7:30 PM. Census count at 8:30 PM. Cleaned up at 8:45 PM. Final census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.

Today was a good day: Doris is well and no asthma attack, but she is not getting enough sleep, too much ruminating. Her health has improved tremendously in the last couple of months. The dogs are well but feisty. Francis will be move in end of September. Walked 6 miles. Cut lots of pants for hemming, only three dozens left. Attended ACE Classes and Talk With Your Doctor.

Confucius: Women and servant are most difficult to deal with. If you are familiar with them, they cease to be humble. If you keep a distance from them, they resent it.
