The morning started with call out for food service workers at 5:00 AM. They were headed to the Penitentiary by 5:30 AM. The morning started out dark, hazy, breezy and cool. The crescent moon was in mid sky. The dark blue sky with light peeking over the Sierras, reminds me of the Aesop story books. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with analogous colors radiating out of the suns path: Red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. As the sun rise over the Sierras, the orange reddish sphere illuminated the outline of the Sierras creating a picturesque view of the Sierras. The squirrels appeared after breakfast and were scurrying around begging for food from the inmates. It was a cool morning for walking and running. Walked 4 miles and ran the final two miles. Completed 6 miles at 7:40 AM, the final two miles was completed in 19 minutes and 30 seconds. Average running times were: 9 minutes and 45 seconds per mile or 1 minutes and 38 seconds per lap. The pace was very fast as I had to walk extra laps to catch my breath and to cool down. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:50 AM. The Yoga practice felt good after the run and I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished the Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful pictures of the Horse Nebula and other pictures of the universe form the Hubble telescope. The clarity and filter of the Hubble telescope enables us to detect a lot more details like temperature of the planets and the gases in the Nebulas. Opened my eyes to the deep blue sky. Cleaned the computer room. Checked email from Doris: Doris is well an rested. She walked 8744 steps, 16.5 inches step length and symmetry was 72%. Yesterday was the 231st consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She was busy on the internet getting information for Eric. The cleaners will be coming over to clean the house today. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:30 AM. Talked to Doris at 10:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. The cleaners were at the house. She was busy gathering information on the internet for Eric. I told her my meeting with Mr Larsen was at 1:00 PM and she wished me luck. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: hamburger , chips, apple and water. Went to the warehouse to secure inventory for the sewing room. CO Zaleski authorized the merchandise. Happy delivered the merchandise to the sewing room. Brought some cleaned uniforms to the sewing room: repaired pants for Seberiano, measures inseam and size for alteration, fabricated 6 pillows and cases for Jorge. GED/ESL tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Meeting with Mr Larsen at 12;40 PM, the meting went well. He requested that I see him again tomorrow morning to discuss possible home confinement instead of Half Way house. That was a pleasant surprise by Mr Larsen. I hope he can do it. GED/ESL tutoring went well. Census count at 3:30 PM, Dinner was served after the count.
