Completed my 6 miles walk in 1 hour 12 minutes and 51 seconds, average 2 minutes 2 seconds per lap and 12 minutes 12 seconds per mile. Decent pace walking, considering I started out at 2 minutes 25 seconds pace. Worked up a good sweat. Stretched until 8:00 AM. The morning was cool in the low 60’s and overcast sky. The sun barely broke through the clouds momentarily. It was a nice tranquil and cool morning for walking. The animals were out in force, mostly the rabbits not much squirrels and frogs. Changed my T-shirt as I was drenched in sweat. Started practicing Yoga at the basketball court. Finished Yoga at 9:20 AM. The sun broke through the clouds barely for some warm rays on me, it drizzled slightly during my practice. Good practice, went through my poses and stretched. It was tiring but refreshing and relaxing after the practice. My reward after the walk and Yoga: crackers, a nutty peanut butter bar, some mixed nuts and an apple. Census count at 10:00 AM. Lunch was served after the count. Luncheon menu: ground meat, bread, diced carrots and apple. Talked to Doris at 10:35 AM: Doris is well, she just got up from her sleep, after taking a couple of prescribed sleeping pills. Dogs were fighting over food, Doris has to spray water on them to stop their fighting. Diana will be by the house to hang out with Doris. She inquired why I did not send any reports, I told her I was busy studying for my examination on Tuesday. I told her they took out $58 for my FRP and I was paid $56 for my laundry and computer room maintenance. She told me she would let Thomas Johnson know of the FRP. So I might not need too much money, mainly for my email, I told her to send $100 instead of $300 in the future. I will notify her when I need money.
I showered at 11:00 AM. AAPI is having a meeting at 1:00 PM to discuss the extra duties for the Laundry room and AAPI dinner at 2:00 PM. AAPI had a meeting to discuss the laundry issue. Effective immediately, I will only take care of the sewing room duties. The inmate laundry will be turned over to Marquez and Tran. And the second shift will comprise of Ho and Sunny. BTW I will still keep my pay for the laundry room. This will relief me of lots of physical labor and aches and pain from the laundry. The AAPI dinner included: Teriyaki Beef, Rice, Doritos and Pepsi. The dinner was excellent. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner included:
Went to the library to work on my class report from 4:00 PM – &:00 PM. ACE Classes – Neuroscience 5-5:30 PM and African History 6-6:30 PM. Healthy Mind and Bodies from 7-8 PM. Census count 7:40 PM. Census count 8:30 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was an excellent day: Doris is well and had a good sleep. The Dogs are well and fighting for food. FRP deducted $58 form my account. Walked 6 miles. Practiced Yoga. Laundry duties reassigned to Marquez and Tran, it is a big relief for me. Attended ACE Classes and Healthy Mind and Bodies.
