The morning started out cool around low 60’s with the fuchsia dawn shy and the sunrise broke through the horizon on a cloudless morning. Cool crisp morning for walking. Tranquil and picturesque sky with sunrise over the Sierra mountains. Stretched until 9:00 AM. Practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 10:00 AM. The yoga practice was relaxing and refreshing but was a little rushed because of the Census count. Census count at 10:00 AM. Lunch was served after the count. Luncheon menu: hot dog, hamburger, salad, honeydew and punch. Talked to Doris at 10:25 AM: Doris is well, no asthma attack after her last shot. She was busy trying to fulfill her hat order. She likes to finish her order today so she could ship them out on her to her appointment tomorrow. She was surprised that I sent out four class reports yesterday. She especially likes the one on ethics. She did not quite understand the Biology report as it contained lots of technical jargon. I told her I was busy preparing for the ServSafe examination next Tuesday 9/12/2023. She inquired about the laundry, I told her it was business as usual and Jay Rod was helping me. My next class reports are Hubble Space and Physiology and Fitness. Also, I was filling out the forms for Thomas Johnson. Showered at 11:20 AM. Went to the library to work on my class report at 11:40 AM. I had to take a urine test for drugs at 2:00 PM, It came back negative, just random testings for inmates for drug use.
