Woke up at 5:10 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform, and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee, and watched the local news and weather channel, high temperature for today is 94 Degrees F. Started first load of laundry at 5:20 AM. Started walking at 6:10 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:30 AM. Breakfast menu: cereal, muffin, banana and punch. Miss Tianto was in the Unit at 6:30 AM

Attended ServSafe Manager class form 7:30 – 8:30 AM. Finished walking at 9:28 AM. Walked 6 miles in 1 hour 18 minutes and 29 seconds. A little slower pace than yesterday due to interruptions by some inmates asking questions about laundry. But the walk was exhilarating, planned out my daily events and ruminated about the Serv Safe examination at 11:15 AM. Ali helped with delivering some cleaned laundry to the bunks. Jay Rod helped deliver cleaned laundry to bunks. Joker wanted me to sew his ripped pants. Lunch was served at 10:30 AM. Luncheon menu: Baked Chicken, pudding, beans, sweet potato and punch. ServSafe Food Handler examination at 11:15 AM. The examination was too easy but there were several trick questions and answers. You have to read carefully before you answer. Finished the examination at 11:45 AM. Mike brought some bananas for me. Sewed another ripped pants for Joker and for Eric. Inmate laundry was completed at 2:00 PM. Washed a load of mop and rags for the Kitchen. Showered at 2:30 PM. Census count at 3:30 p.m. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Tortilla, shredded chicken, beans, corn and punch. Miss Tianto wanted us to move the shelf from the entrance for fire escape concerns. Blankets and sheets exchange for bunk # 64 – 72. Fabricated more bunk hangers. back to the unit at 7:00 PM. Washed my laundry at 7:05 PM. Census count at 7:15 PM. Census count at 7:30 PM. Finished laundry at 8:20 PM. Cleaned up at 8:40 PM. Finished blanket and sheets at 9:20 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day: Doris is well and the dogs are well too. Did well in the ServSafe examination. Walked 6 miles. Attended ServSafe Manager and ACE Classes.
