Woke up at 5:10 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up and changed to BOP uniform, and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, Drank my coffee, and watched the local news and weather channel, high temperature for today is 84 degrees F. Started the First load of laundry at 5:35 AM. Started walking at 6:10 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:30 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, Apple, Roll and punch.

Finished walking at 8:10 AM. Completed 6 miles walk in 1 hour 18 minutes and 8 seconds. It was an overcast morning, cool and tranquil, nice weather for walking. Stretched at the basketball court until 8:45 AM. Lunch was served at 10:30 AM. Luncheon menu: Taco, beans, cheese, and punch. I told Chris and Jon we were out of detergent for washing blankets, mops, and rags. Talked to Doris at 11:00 AM; She is well. The dogs are well. She texted Thomas Johnson. The battery for the van is dead and Smog is due in September. She needs to drive the van after charging it for 1-200 miles to get some data for Smog check, otherwise, they will reject the test. Every time the battery runs out, the data in the computer chip is wiped out. Need to drive 1-200 miles to acquire enough data for a Smog check.
Chris brought a case of detergent from Unicorp. Just in time as I am out of detergent. I kept the empty box for Jon. Inmate laundry was completed at 1:15 PM. Showered at 1:30 PM. Sewed a ripped pants for Mcknight. Started blanket and sheet exchange for bunk # 36-45. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Spaghetti with ground meat, salad, bread, beans, and punch. ACE Classes – Philosophy and Existentialism 4-4:30 PM, Art History 3 5-5:30 PM, and Life of Muhamad 6-6:30 PM. In the Art Class, we learned about Neoclassism and Romantism art. Read in the library from 4:30 – 7:00 PM. Washed mops and rags for the front lobby. Back to the unit at 7:00 PM. Started washing blankets and sheets. Census count at 7:20 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 8:15 PM. Final census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a hectic day: Lots of laundry. Doris is well. The Dogs are well. Walked 6 miles and stretched. Weather was overcast but was pleasant because of Hurricane Hillary. Attended ACE Classes.
