All issues related to safe food handling. Resumed walking after the class. Completed walking 6 miles by 9:15 AM. I walked at a brisk pace, under 14 minutes per mile. Worked up a good sweat. Stretched until 9:30 AM. The Casio watch came in handy, I could time my pace. Talked to CO Zalenski and Turner about ordering a soap supply for the laundry room. They will place an order for us. Tried calling Thomas Johnson at 10:10 AM but no answer from him. Talked to Doris at 10:15 AM: She is well but had an asthma attack last night after working in her room. I told her I called Thomas Johnson but no answer. Geok tried to convince Doris that she was contributing $2K on our behalf to Patches. I told her not to do it as I don’t want to owe them any funds. Moreover, they should know about our situation and not ask us for any donations in the future. As we are having a hard time making ends meet. We received a deposit from Social Security, it was a pleasant surprise.
Lunch was served at 10:30 AM. Luncheon menu: Baked Chicken, yam, beans, and punch. Called Doris again at 10:50 AM: I asked her about my package, and she said it was the Cialis from Optima Rx. I asked her to keep them next to her gummies. I also told her the prescription for enlarged prostate made me gasp for air at night and had difficulty breathing, thus I stopped taking it until I talked to the BOP doctor. Karlee and Chris might visit me during labor day. Bobo is well, Chunk is being aggressive and Playtoh was his usual self, still trying. I told Doris that I am trying hard to be home by Dec 2024 based on my good time credit, EBRR time credit and second chance act to allow longer home confinement for elderly inmates. I told Doris to act on my behalf since I signed the power of attorney to her and Thomas Johnson should deal with her and she will let me know about the restitution. She said we received the property tax for $5500. I told her to Pay it whenever she can, maybe by September 2023. The next big bill due is our Home Insurance or Car Insurance in December and the other is due in May. Finished inmates’ laundry at 12:30 PM. Washed some blankets and sheets and inmate uniforms. Showered at 1:50 PM. Washed my laundry at 2:00 PM. Finished my laundry at 3:20 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: hot dog w/ chicken, green beans, and punch. Mike gave me half a cantaloupe. I gave it to Chan and Jon for them to enjoy. Gave a pair of old sneakers to Bryan Federico, his sneakers were worn out. ACE Classes – Philosophy of emotions 4-4:30 PM, Sociology – 5-5:30 PM, and How your body works 6-6:30 PM. Read in the library in between classes from 4:30 – 7:00 PM.
