8/16/2023 Wednesday Daily Diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:00 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather channel, high temperature for today is 105 degrees F. Started first load of laundry at 5:10 AM. Started walking at 5:50 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:10 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, muffin, banana and punch.

- Commissary day.
Finished walking 6 miles at &;50 AM. It was a quiet, cool and refreshing walk, the sun was rising in the horizon. I visualize the sun rise over the horizon in my Yoga practice. Stretched from 7:50-8:30 AM. Sewed some ripped pants while waiting for my commissary pickup. Picked my commissary items at 9:10 AM, spent $29.90. Had to wait for some time for my commissary items as I did not hear them calling me while I was in the sewing room. Lunch was served at 10:00 AM. Luncheon menu: Hamburger, Fires and punch. Sewed ripped pants and button for Edgar. Exchanged 2 pairs of pants for Aaron 36X32 pant size. Repaired several ripped pants and sewed buttons for pants at the laundry room. Talked to Doris at 10:45 AM: Doris is well and cheerful. She asked me if I called Thomas Johnson, I told her I would call him in the evening. Geok asked for donations for Patches, Doris kindly declined due to our situation. Bobo is doin well, back to her normal self. Diana was visiting Doris at the house. Doris asked about the visitations for Mava and Kain, I told her Counselor has not approved them yet. Completed all inmate laundry by 1:30 PM. Gadget brought some stuffed toys to be washed to the laundry. Started washing sheets and blankets. Jon presented me with a Casio watch. I was trying to buy one from the commissary but they were out of stock. Thanks Jon. We had some Dr Pepper and Doritos chips. I gave Jon and Will each a pack of Beef sausage. They in return gave mw a few packs of nuts and chocolate snacks. Finished all laundry duties at 2:30 PM. Showered at 2:35 PM. Packed up Chad’s belongings for future distribution to AAPI members. Vincent left a bag of belongings for us too. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: shredded chicken, salad, diced vegetables and punch. ACE classes – Warehouse safety 4-4:30 PM, Hubble Space 5-5:30 PM and Physics beyond the edge 6-6:30 PM. Hemmed a pair of pants ad sewed some pants for Gotti. Read in the library until 7:00 PM. Distributed new greens to Santa Maria XL shirt and 32X32 pants. Exchanged 4 XL shirts and 4 – 38X30 pants for Jesse. Distributed hemmed shorts and holders to Gotti. Census count at 7:50 PM. Vincent left a lots of clothing’s for us before he leaves tomorrow for distribution to AAPI members. Cleaned up at 8:00 PM. Census count at 8:30 PM. Final census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was hectic but good day: Doris is well and happy. Bobo is doing well. Walked 6 miles. Stretched. Commissary day. Jon gave me a Casio Watch. Attended ACE classes. Had some chips and Dr Pepper with the guys.
