8/8/2023 Tuesday Daily Diary from Atwater camp.
Woke up at 4:50 AM. Made my bed, cleaned up and brushed my teeth, changed to BOP uniform, and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee, and watched the local news and weather channel, high temperature for today is 93 Degrees F. Started washing my first load of laundry at 5:10 AM. Started walking at 5:50 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:10 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, Rolls, banana and punch.

- Call Doris.
- Walk 6 miles.
- Yoga.
- Email daily Diary 8/7/2023.
- Quotations.
- ACE classes – Psychology – 4-4:30 PM, Religious History – 5-5:30 PM, and 12 Essential Scientific Concepts – 6-6:30 PM.
Finished walking 6 miles by 8:00 AM. Stretched until 8:20 AM. Census count at 8:40 AM. Got a legal mail from the Financial Litigation Program demanding payment of the restitution of $972K. I send an email to Thomas Johnson to inquire what we should do? Lunch was served at 10:00 AM. Luncheon menu: chicken sandwich, apple, spaghetti, and punch. Called Doris at 10:30 AM. She Sounded Better and she felt better after the shot. DR Jasmine Lee urged her not to walk too much during the heat wave, as it make her gasp for air and triggers her asthma. She took Bobo to the veterinarian and it cost her $90 to Diagnose her condition. It would cost $1K to x-ray her bloated stomach, she did not x-ray Bobo. Bobo is home now in the dog house. She inquired about the visitation request for Kain. I told her I would check with the counselor. I told her about my letter from FLP and I email Thomas Johnson.
Completed inmates’ laundry and sewing at 12:30 PM. Washed two loads of laundry for Armando at 1:00 PM. Tried calling Thomas Johnson but he did not answer. Showered at 2:00 PM/ Completed Armando’s laundry at 2:30 PM. Read ServSafe from 1:00 – 3:30 PM. Census Count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: pork sandwich, green beans, bread, and punch. ACE Class – Psychology 4-4:30 PM, Religious History 5-5:30 PM and 12 Essential Scientific Concepts 6-6:30 PM. Read at the library in between classes from 4:30 – 7:00 PM. Read Doris’ email that she will be visiting on Saturday with Quang. Census count at 7:35 PM. Cleaned up and brushed my teeth at 8:00 PM. Census count at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day: Doris is well and feeling better. Completed 6 miles of walking. No Yoga today. Too Many Census counts. Received restitution letter. Doris will be visiting on Saturday.
