8/4/2023 Friday Daily Diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, change to BOP uniform, and made a cup of coffee. Stretched and drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather channel, high for today is 93 degrees F. Started walking at 5:50 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:05 AM. Breakfast menu: oatmeal, muffin, apple, and punch.

- Walk 6 miles.
- Read.
- Yoga.
- Quotations.
- ACE classes – Indian Nations 4-4:30 PM, Oceanography – 5-5:30 PM, and Ethics – 6-6:30 PM.
- Inventory of laundry Room.
- Clean mops and rags.
Finished walking 5.5 miles and ran 0.5. miles at 7:15 AM. Enjoyed the walk thoroughly, the beautiful sunrise, the tranquil, cool, clean air, and the animals: squirrels and Rabbits were running about the track. Ms. Tianto was in the unit for the unit team meeting. Read at the library from 8-9:00 AM. Took inventory of the laundry from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM. Ryan delivered some BOP uniforms and boxers to the laundry room. Lunch was served at 10:30 AM. Luncheon menu: Fish sandwich, Cole slaw, beans, and punch. Started washing mops and rags at 10:45 AM. Called Doris at 10:45 AM: Doris is well, but still has some lingering effects from her asthma attack last night. She is scheduled to get a shot from Dr. Jasmine Lee on Monday to stabilize her condition. She will send the narrative to Michael Santos. Started sewing at the Laundry at 11:30 AM-12:30 PM. Read at the library from 12:30 -1:30 PM. Showered at 1:45 PM and did my laundry at 1:50 PM. Mop and Rags were dried at 2:00 PM. 3:30 PM Census count. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: shredded chicken, corn, salsa, tortilla, and punch. Started reading at the library from 3:50 – 7:00 PM in between ACE classes. ACE Classes – Indian Nations 4-4:30 PM, Oceanography 5-5:30 PM, and Ethics 6-6:30 PM. Finished reading “Earning Freedom” at 7:00 PM. Ms. Tianto left the unit at 7:05 PM after the team unit meetings. Prepared book report from 7:30 – 9:30 PM. Cleaned up at 8:00 PM. Census Count at 9:05 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 9:30 PM.
Today was a decent day: Doris is Okay albeit she is under medication. Walked 6 miles. Reorganized and inventoried the laundry room. Attended three ACE Classes. Finished reading ” Earning Freedom”. Only minor Yoga stretching today.
