7/29/2023 Saturday Daily Diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to casual workout clothes, and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee, and watched the local news and weather channel, high temperature is 99 Degrees F. Started walking at 6:05 AM. The walk was great and tranquil, cool with the sun rising over the horizon. Which is what I will visualize when practicing my yoga. Breakfast was served at 7:00 AM. Breakfast Menu: Oatmeal, roll, apple and punch. Finished walking at 7:15 AM. Completed 6 miles; 5.5 miles walking and .5 miles running.
Plan for today:
- Call Doris.
- Walk 6 miles.
- Email Daily diary for 7/28/2023.
- Practice Yoga.
Practiced Yoga in the laundry room from 7:20 – 8:45 AM. Felt really good and refreshed after the Yoga session. I was able to practice Yoga today as I do not have any laundry obligations today. Showered after the Yoga session. Washed my laundry at 9:20 AM. Census count at 10:00 AM. Lunch was served after the count. Luncheon menu: scrambled eggs, toast with syrup, french fries, and punch. Call Doris at 10:25 AM, unfortunately, I could not hear her after the connection, possibly bad POB connection. The AAPI group had a meeting to discuss issues within the group at 10:30 AM. Finished my laundry at 10:45 AM. I talked to Doris at 11:45 AM: She was very excited and was having a great show. She contact Christine – Pinole Senior Center and she could use my volunteer services. Christina also introduced mr. Chu – Meals on Wheels to Doris, they could definitely use my help to deliver meals to the elderly, disabled, needy, and the disadvantaged communities. She did not have an asthma attack but was tired because she did not sleep too well yesterday. Karlee and Chris had Covid after their Comic Com convention in San Diego, thus will not be able to visit me next week. She noticed that I emailed the Daily Diary for 7/28/2023 yesterday night, I told her the computer was available so I sent it last night. Went to Library at 12:00 PM to update my diary and read until 3:00 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner Menu: bread, shredded chicken, green beans, and punch. When to the library to read from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.
