The morning started out bright, hazy, breezy and cool. Th beautiful dawn sky was on display with analogous colors radiating out of the suns path: Red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky. The breeze dispersed the haze an blew them away. As the sun rise over the Sierras, it illuminated the outline of the Sierras creating a picturesque scene, and it warmed the air. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. The squirrels appeared after breakfast and were scurrying around the camp begging for food from the inmates. It was a cool and crisp morning which was great for walking and jogging. Walked 4.5 miles, jogged and sprinted the final 1.5 miles. Completed the 6 mile walk at 7:30 AM, in 1 hour 7 minutes and 23 seconds. Average walking times were:
11 minutes 24 seconds per mile or 1 minutes and 54 seconds per lap. The pace was fast as I was sweating and had to walk extra laps to catch my breath and to cool down. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:25 AM. The Yoga practice felt good as I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized our trip to Sentosa Island, Singapore. Took the cable car to the island, visited several theme parks, enjoyed the white sand beach and enjoyed a nice lunch at the Shangri-La Hotel. The family had a good time at Sentosa Island. We had Butter and Chili crabs for dinner. Opened my eyes to the Blue sky, the half moon and an airplane flying across the sky. Attended the ACE Class Advanced Spanish 8:30 – 9:30 AM. Theme for today was travel – Viajar. Good conversational Spanish class and I was able to use new words which I learned form the Spanish books that Karlee sent me. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: scrambled eggs, toast with syrup, fries, apple and water. Talked to Doris at 9:50 AM: Doris is well and rested. She was tired from the show. The weather in Pinole was cool an it drizzle lightly this morning. She will work in the garage to organize her merchandise. She was out in the backyard earlier to: enjoy the cool weather, walk without her cast, let the dogs out and enjoy her tomato plants. She will try to interact and contact Quang and Annie when she needs help. I told her I was enjoying the books Karlee sent me. Karlee and Chris are in San Diego for business and pleasure trip. I told her I already had breakfast, walked 6 miles, practiced my Yoga, attended Advanced Spanish Class and finished my lunch. And will do more reading today. Checked email from Doris: Doris is well and rested. She walked 8296 steps, 16.8 inches step length and symmetry was 75%. She will be busy organizing he merchandise in the garage. She will try to interact with Quang and Annie more often. As usual, she will be out in the backyard to: enjoy the nice weather, walk without her cast, let the dogs out and enjoy her tomato plants.
