Journal Entry

7/27/2023 Thursday Daily Diary from Atwater camp.
Woke up at 5:10 AM, After the CO had their morning count. Made up the bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform, and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee, and watched the local news and weather channel, high temperature for today is 102 degrees F. Started the first load of laundry at 5:20 AM. Started walking at 5:50 AM. It was nice to see the sun rise over the horizon and the animals: squirrels, rabbits, and frogs scampering away when I approached them. They seem to know that I won’t do any harm to them. Breakfast was served at 6:00 AM. Breakfast menu: cereal, muffins, apples, and punch.
