The morning started out bright, little cloudy, slight breeze and warm. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with analogous colors radiating out of the suns path: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky. The lower atmosphere was hazy mixed in with some clouds. As the sun rise over the Sierras, the sun turned the clouds on its path to peach orange color with golden edges it brightened the sky and warmed the air. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. The squirrels appeared after breakfast, running all over the camp begging for food from the inmates. William Uribe turned on the sprinklers on the soccer field and some rabbits left but most continue to graze on the soccer field, they were joined by some squirrels and birds were showering under the sprinklers. Walked 5 miles, jogged and sprinted the final mile. Completed 6 miles walk at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 29 seconds. The average walking times were: 12 minutes and 15 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 3 seconds per lap. The pace was fast as I was sweating and had to walk extra laps to catch my breath and to cool down. Stretched, split stretched and practice Yoga at the basketball court until 8:40 AM. During my practice,I was able to exercise all phases: strength, balance, flexibility and breathing. Finished the Yoga exercise with the corpse pose, visualized my trip to Half Moon Bay,, strolled to where they had the Maverick competition, strolled the beach, checked out fish for sale by fisherman and had a nice seafood lunch. Opened my eyes to the blue sky with white clouds. The moon was out of sight. Cleaned the computer room. Checked email from Doris: Doris is well and rested. She walked 8353 steps, 16.4 inches step length and symmetry was 76%. Yesterday was the 184th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She will be out in the backyard to: enjoy the nice weather, walk without her cast, let the dogs out and enjoy her tomato plants. She probably go shopping with Diana tomorrow after her appointment with Dr Yang. Today was commissary day but I did not get anything. Counselor Reyes told me that we will not have any inmates today. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:20 AM. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: hamburger, fries, an apple and water. Talked to Doris at 10:40 AM: Doris is well and rested. She was busy outside the backyard to: enjoy the nice weather, walked over 8000 steps without her cast, let the dogs out and enjoyed her tomato plants. The tomato plants are producing several large tomatoes. Diana won’t be by today, so they will go shopping tomorrow after her appointment with Dr Yang. I told her I will be busy with ACE class and sewing. GED/ESL tutoring was cancelled because they used the library to sign up for college courses. Went to sewing room: counselor Reyes took 1 dozen towels, fabricated three pillow case for Jorge, 4 2X t shirt for Jorge, exchanged 2 2XL shirts and 38X32 pants for Gudgel and hemmed 6 dozens pants. Completed 14 dozens so far, 26 dozens left to hem. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: spaghetti with marinara sauce, salad, bread, spinach and water.
