The morning started out bright, some clouds on the Eastern and Southern Horizon, breezy and cool. The lower atmosphere was hazy. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with colors radiating out from the suns path: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky. As the sun rise over the Sierras, it illuminated the clouds on its path to Peach orange color with golden edges. Th rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. The squirrels appeared after breakfast, they were scurrying around begging for food from the inmates. William Uribe turned on the sprinklers fro the soccer field and the rabbits moved to graze on the baseball field, the birds moved in for their shower. Walked 5 miles, jogged and sprinted the final mile. Completed 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1hour 11 minutes and 8 seconds. Average walking times were: 11 minutes and 52 seconds per mile or minutes and 59 seconds per lap. The pace was fast as I sweated and had to walk a few extra laps to catch my breath and to cool down. Split stretched and practiced Yoga on the basketball court until 8:40 AM. The Yoga practice was nice and cool with the breeze. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility , balance and breathing. Finished my practice with the corpse pose and visualized my trip to San Diego, the Botanical Garden, looked at the cactus and succulent gardens, Orchid gardens and conservatory. Lots of beautiful, ungues and exotic species to explore. Opened my eyes to some low white clouds with the Blue sky. Cleaned the computer room. Checked email from Doris: Doris is well and rested. She walked 8704 steps, 16.7 inches step length and symmetry was 76%. Yesterday was the 178th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She will be in the backyard to: enjoy the nice weather, walk without her cast, let the dogs out, and enjoy her tomato plants. She was glad i finally received the book from Karlee. Bobo was running around the backyard with the dogs. Karlee replied to me about the Book she sent me. It was a bilingual Spanish Science fiction book with 3 stories: Frankenstein, 2000 league below the sea and War of the world. I will enjoy the book in Spanish. Talked to Doris at 10:00 AM: Doris is well. She was out in the backyard and Bobo was fine, jumping up and down from the planters. Michael Santos used me as an example as an advocate for early release by publishing my: journals, book reports, and class reports on UTube. Hopefully other inmates will follow suit for it to gain traction and support for early release consideration by case manager and probation officers. Lunch was served at 10:30 AM. Luncheon menu: Baked chicken, macaroni and cheese, mixed vegetables, bread, apple puree and water. Went to the front office to make 2000 copies for Commissary per request of Mrs. Magdalano. She also requested that I send her the number of the workstation with finger scanner problem. Work station # BGGWWP3. GED/ ESL Tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Good tutoring sessions. Haircut after class. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: shredded chicken, rice, green beans, bread and water. Showered at 4:00 PM.
