7/16/2023 Sunday Daily Diary from Atwater camp
Woke up at 5:10 AM. Cleaned up, made my bed, changed into BOP uniform, and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee, and watched the local news and weather channel, high for today is 113 degrees F.
Plan for Today:
- Stretch.
- EBRR Class Inside Out, 8-10:00 AM, 11:30 – 3:30 PM.
- Call Doris.
- Walk 6 Miles.
- Email Daily Diary 7/15/2023 to Prison Professor and Doris.
- Read.
- ACE Classes History of Music 4-4:30 PM, Physiology and Fitness 5-5:50 PM, Biology 6-6:30 PM.
Someone triggered the alarm to the unit at 6:00 AM, It was not turned off by the CO when they opened the gates and doors. I went walking at 6:10 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:20 AM. Breakfast menu: Grits, muffins, and punch. Finished walking 6 miles at 7:30 PM. Showered and changed to BOP uniform for EBRR Class Inside out form 8-10:00 AM, and 11:30 – 3:30 PM. Washed a load of laundry for Armando – the barber. At 9:35 AM. Headcount at 10:00 AM. Lunch was served after the count. Luncheon menu; Scrambled eggs, 2 biscuits with gravy, banana and punch. Talked to Doris: She had an asthma attack after she went outside, but controlled it with the nebulizer. The weather in the bay area was 69 degrees F compared to 113 degrees f in Atwater. Diana might come by the house to see Doris. I told her to take care of her asthma. She told me she had an appointment with Dr. Scott Lee tomorrow 7/17/2023 at 10:30 AM. Emailed the 7/15/2023 Daily Diary to Prison Professor and Doris. Finished the wash for Armando at 11:10 AM. 1:40 PM the alarm was still on. at 3:10 PM the AAPI group had a pizza party. Headcount at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu; pepper steak, green beans, bread, mashed potato w/ gravy, and punch. Back to the library to read and attend ACE classes – History of Music 4-4:30 PM, Physiology and Fitness 5-5:30 PM, and Biology 6-6:30 PM. Finished reading at 7:00 PM. Headcount at 8:10 PM, Final headcount at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM. Today was a busy day: walked 6 miles. EBRR Class Inside out 8-10 AM, 11:30 – 3:30 PM. ACE classes – History of Music 4-4:30 PM, Physiology and Fitness 5-5:30 PM and Biology 6:6:30 PM. Doris was okay.
