Started walking from 6:15 AM – 8:25 AM, and completed my 6 miles of walking. 9:30 AM dropped my container to the Kitchen for my lunch as I don’t know when my X-Ray appointment with the medical unit will end. Back to the unit at 2:00 PM. Called Doris at 2:05 PM: She told me that she had talked to Christine about my volunteer services, Christine wanted some background information from me. Doris wondered why I was so late calling her today, I told her it was because of the X-Ray at the main facility, Her appointment for tomorrow was canceled, because Medicare has not approved the procedure yet. I got my lunch from the kitchen staff, it was Baked chicken, weak potato, and green beans. The last load was in the dryer at 3:20 PM. Ms. Tianto locked the laundry room, I told her I had another load in the dryer. She asked why I was late with my laundry responsibilities, I told her I had an appointment with the Medical unit and was late getting back to the unit. She will instruct C.O. Durrant to open the laundry room after dinner. Headcount at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu; Hot Dog, ground meat casserole, green beans, and punch. After dinner, CO Durrant to me that he unlocked the laundry room. I thank him for opening the laundry room. Went to the library to read a new book – Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits by Philip A Fisher from 4:00 – 6:00 PM. 6:00 – 6:30 PM ACE class: How your body functions – Urinary System Part 1. Ate my lunch and showered at 7:10 PM. Drafted a letter to Christine and other community leaders to offer my volunteer services upon my release from 7:30 – 9:20 PM. Headcount at 7:45 PM. Headcount at 8:30 PM and Final headcount at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today is a good day, albeit we wasted half a day at the medical unit: Drafted a letter to community leaders for support and offer my volunteer services. Walked 6 miles, and Doris is well.
