The morning started our bright, clear, calm and warm. The lower atmosphere was hazy with plumes of black smoke in the Southern and Western horizons. The sun was already over the Sierras but it was not as bright as it was shielded by the haze, the sky was not the usual dark blue because of the haze. The rabbits were out grazing in the soccer and baseball fields while Labrona and her family were grazing by the fence near the basketball court. After walking a couple of miles, I decided to workout in the training room because of throat irritation from the smoke. The squirrels emerged after breakfast and were running around begging for food from the inmates. Resume my workout on the treadmill, elliptical and stationary bike. Completed 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 6 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 21 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 3 seconds per lap. The workout was good as my heart rate reached 140 BPM and I was drenched in sweat. Stretched , split stretched and practiced my Yoga until 8:30 AM. The Yoga practice was good with the CBNC Squawk Box in the background. The Yoga practice felt good as I was able to exercise all phases: Strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized my trip to Grand Canyon on the North Rim, a different vantage point then the South Rim, met a Chinese family looking for their hotel located in the South Rim. Hiked to various vantage points to enjoy the spectacular views. Opened my eyes to the ceiling of the training room. Cleaned the computer room. Checked email from Doris: Doris is well an rested.
