7/6/2023 Thursday Daily Diary from Camp Atwater
Woke up at 5:00 AM. Made up my bed, Cleaned up, and changed to BOP uniform. Made a cup of coffee, and watched the local News, High Temperature is 95 degrees F. Stretched while watching the news and drank my coffee.
Plan for today:
- Laundry duties.
- Book Report on Post Conviction Remedies.
- Call Doris.
- Email Daily Diary to Prison Professor, Michael and Doris.
- Stretch.
- Walk 6 miles.
- Read.
- Email Book Report.
Dropped first wash load to the washer at 5:40 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:10 AM. Breakfast menu: cereal, bread, pastry, milk, and hot water. Started walking at 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM. I squeeze in the walking in between my laundry duties. Picked up my commissary items at 8:30 AM. I got another pair of Under Amour walking shoes, I tried a pair of Nike but it was too tight. got some snacks too. Lunch was served at 10:00 AM. Luncheon menu: Baked Chicken, green beans, salad, sweet potato, bread, and punch. Finished laundry duties at 11:30 AM. Reply to Prison Professor’s request for personal information to publish my web page from 9:30 – 11:00 AM. Emailed Daily Diary for 7/5/2023 at 11:30 AM to Prison Professor, Michael and Doris. Called Doris at 12:00 PM: Doris sounded good and she told me her asthma was under control, I walked regressed as her step length was down to 16.5 from 17.2 inches. I told her that when we work out, we occasionally regress before we progress. The plants around the fence were not getting enough water due to a leak in the sprinkler system, I told her to call Quang if he could look into the problem, In the meantime, she will need to water the plants with the hose. Went to the laundry room to hem up some pants for the main penitentiary from 1:00 – 2-00 PM. Showered at 2:20 PM. Prepared book report. Headcount at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after headcount. Dinner Menu: 2 hot dogs, Cole slaw, fries, and punch. 4:00 – 6:00 PM went to the library to prepare a book report for Post Conviction Remedies. Emailed Book Report to Prison Professor, Michael and Doris. Started reading Prison my 8344th Day – workbook from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. Census count at 8:10 PM. Final headcount at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
Today was a good day: Completed and emailed the book report. The email requested information from Prison Professor. Started reading Prison My 8344th day. Doris’s health is well. Walked 6 miles. Got another pair of shoes. Learn how to use the sewing machine.
