Breakfast was served early today, the squirrels were still asleep. The morning started out with the beautiful dawn sky on display with colors radiating out from the sun’s path: Red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky. The morning was bright, clear, windy but warm. The rabbits were out grazing in the soccer and baseball fields, Labrona and family were grazing inside and outside of the fence. William Uribe turned one the sprinklers on the soccer field and the rabbits moved to graze on the baseball field, but the birds were showering under the sprinklers. The lower atmosphere was slightly hazy. the squirrels appeared around 6:30 AM but there were no inmates feeding them any food. Walked 5 miles, jogged and sprinted the final mile. Completed 6 miles walk at 7:30 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 22 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 14 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 3 seconds per lap. The pace was fast as I was sweating and had to walk a few extra laps to lower my heart rate and to catch my breath. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:30 AM. The Yoga practice felt good as I exercised all phases: Strength, balance, flexibility and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose, visualized my trip to the painted desert, drive through all the areas with colorful layers of different pastel color sandstones. Opened my eyes to the bright blue sky with the crescent moon still visible. Had some nuts, a nutty bar and an apple for snacks. Cleaned the computer room. Checked email from Doris: Doris is well and rested. She walked 8037 steps, 16.3 inches step length and symmetry was 72%. Yesterday was the 161st consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She has an eye appointment tomorrow morning at 9:45 AM an she asked me to call her later in the day. Counselor Reyes informed me that there will be seven inmates coming off the bus and possibly one new self surrender today. The door to the office was jammed, we were stuck in the office for a while until Mrs. Chavez opened it with a screwdriver. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: burritos, beans, Coles Slaw, an apple and water. Talked to Doris at 10:50 AM: Doris is well and rested. Eric called to make sure we are doing well an the Yong family is doing well. She talked to Thomas Johnson and he told Doris that they did not charge us for the litigation surcharge. She will have an eye appointment tomorrow morning at 9:45 AM.
