The morning started out bright, clear, windy and cool. The beautiful dawn sky was on display with beautiful colors radiating out of the suns path: red, orange, yellow, light blue and blue sky. The lower atmosphere was not hazy and i could see the picturesque outline of the Sierras and Santa Lucia highlands. There was a plume of white smoke from the Fresno fire in the Southern sky. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields and Labrona and her rabbit family were grazing inside ant outside of the fence near the basketball court. The squirrels appeared after breakfast, they were running all over the camp begging for food from the inmates. They were especially congregated by the entrance to the dormitory, there were 2-3 dozens squirrels. William Uribe turned on the sprinklers on the soccer field, the rabbits moved to the the baseball field to graze while the birds were have a great time showering under the sprinklers. Walked 5 miles and jogged the final mile. Completed six miles at 7:30 AM, in 1 hour 12 minutes and 37 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 Minutes and 6 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and one second per lap. The pace was fast as I had to walk a few extra laps to catch my breath and to cool down. Split stretched, stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:40 AM. The Yoga practice felt good as I was able to exercise all phase: strength, balance, flexibility and breathing. I finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized my trip to Red Rocks National Park near Las Vegas. The beautiful Red Rocks and other rock structures were spectacular, walking among the huge colorful rocks was spectacular. Opened my eyes to the blue sky with the half moon still visible. Had some donuts, nutty bar and chocolates for snacks. Cleaned the computer room. Checked email from Doris: Doris is well but she did not have a good nights rest. She walked 8067 steps, 16.2 inches step length and symmetry was 87%. yesterday was the 157th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She will be in the backyard to enjoy the nice weather, walk, let the dogs out and admire her tomato plants. I told her to be careful when walking outside and to wear a mask when she smell or see smoke. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:30 AM. Counselor Reyes informed me that we will have 2 inmates coming out of the SHU and 2 new self surrender inmates today. And 7 new inmates form the bus on Monday. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: baked chicken, mixed vegetables, bread, sweet potato, mile and water. Talked to Doris at 10:50 AM: Doris is well but did not have a good nights rest. She went outside the back yard to let the dogs out but the air was hazy from the wild fire, so she decided to walk inside the house. She is making more merchandise for her shows. She will try to call DOJ and Thomas Johnson regarding the litigation surcharge issue. I told her I will be busy sewing and GED/ESL tutoring class today.
