5/18/2024 Saturday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 86 degrees F. Started walking at 6:00 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:30 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal,, cake, apple and water (harina de avena, torta, manzana y agua).

The morning started out bright, clear with a few sparse clouds, calm and cool. The beautiful dawn sky was on full display with the analogous colors radiating out from the sun’s path: red, orange, yellow, light blue and blue sky. The lower atmosphere was hazy from the smog but it creates the beautiful colors. The rabbits were grazing in the fields, Labrona and her juvenile rabbits were grazing inside the fence by the basketball court. As the sun rise over the Sierras,, the golden sphere lit up the clouds near the Sierras turning it to peach color with gold tint at the edges, the sun brightened the sky and warmed the air. It was a pleasant morning for walking. The squirrels appeared and were running around the camp. Walked 5 miles and jogged the final mile, completed walking 6 miles at 7:30 AM, in i hour 10 minutes and 36 seconds. Average walking times were: 11 minutes 50 seconds per mile or 1 minutes 58 seconds per lap. The pace was pretty fast and I sweated. Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court. practiced Yoga until 8:30 AM. Attended Spanish Lessons from 8:30 – 9:30 AM. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: scrambled eggs, pancake with syrup, grapefruit, fries and water. Talked to Doris at 9:50 AM: Doris is well and rested.. Her knee felt good after the shot. The dogs killed a bird in the backyard and Francis removed the carcass. She will visit me next Saturday. She will work on her new design for her inventory. I told her I completed my walk, attended Spanish Class, practiced Yoga and finished my lunch and will host and attend ACE Class tonight. I hope to complete a class report today. Checked email from Doris: Doris is well and rested… She walked 8187 steps, 16.2 inches step length, symmetry was 74%. Yesterday was her 117th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She will work on designs for her shows. Showered and changed to casual clothes at 10:30 AM. Had a short nap.. Went to library to work on my ACE Class Report. ( El mana es brilliante, claro poco nubles, calma y Fresco. El lindo alba cielo en exponer, analogo colorear irradiar por del sol sondero: rojo, naranja, Amarillo, ligero Azul y Azul cielo. Practico Yoga hasta las ocho y media. Asistir Espanol clases a las ocho y media hasta nueve y media. Almuerzo servir a las Nueve y media. Almuerzo menu: huevos revueltos, panqueque con jarabe,, toronja, papas fritas y agua. Hablo con Doris a las nueve cincuenta: Doris muy bien y descano. Ella rodilla no dolor porque inyeccion. El perros matar un pajaro, Francis disponer cuerpo. Ella visitarme sabado proximo. Ella quere afuera a gozar: hace buen tiempo, jugar con perroitos, camina i tomate plantar. Ella desenar nuevo mercancia por mostrar. Yo digo yo completo caminar, practico Yoga, asistir Espanol Clase y tomo almuerzo. Yo ensenar y asistir ACE Clases esta noche. Yo espero terminar uno clases informe hoy. Today was a good day: Doris is well and rested. The injection to her knee helped. She walked 8187 steps, step length was 16.2 Inches step length, 74% symmetry. yesterday was the 117th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. Walked 6 miles, split stretched and practiced Yoga. Attended and hosted ACE Classes. Completed Class Report on US History 1933 – 1945.
