5/3/2024 Friday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, change to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 82 degrees F. Started walking at 6:10 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:15 AM. Breakfast menu: cereal, cake, an apple and water.

The morning started out cloudless, windy but cool ( manana muy viente, no hay nubles pero fresco). The crescent moon an the stars were in the sky (media luna, estrella es en el cielo). The dawn sky was on full display (alba cielo es en exponer), the beautiful analogous colors were radiating out of the sun’s path (lindo analogo colors extenderse de del sol sendero): Red (rojo), orange (naranja), yellow (Amarillo), blue (Azul) and dark blue sky (Azul Marino cielo). Smog were in the lower atmosphere (smog es en bajo atmosfera). The rabbits were grazing on the fields 9conejos pastoreo en el campos), Labrona was grazing by the basketball court. As the morning progressed, the analogous colors turned to pastel colors (manana progresso el analogo colors hacer curar a pastel colors). As the sun rise over the Sierras the bright sphere brightened and warmed the atmosphere ( soleda del sol saltar el Sierra Montana. el brilliante esfera y atmosfera y calentar aire). The rabbits moved to graze on the baseball field (conejos mover pastoreo en beisbol compo). Walked 5 miles and jogger one mile (caminar cinco milla y correr uno milla). She will enjoy the warm weather; walk outside, enjoy the tomato plants and play with the dogs. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:20 AM (ducharse, ponerse a ropa BOP son las nueve veinte). Lunch was served at 10:20 AM (Almuerzo servir son lad dies veinte), Luncheon menu: Fried chicken sandwich, rice , beans, Jell-O and water (Pollo freir bocadillo, arroz, frijlo, jaleta y agua). Talked to Doris at 10:40 AM (Hablar con Doris son las Dies curenta): Doris is well and rested (Doris es bien y descanso). She walked outside: to enjoy the beautiful weather, look at her tomato plants and play with the dogs (ella caminar afuera: a gozar tiempo lindo, ver a tomate plantar, juego con perros). She will work on her mother’s day design (ella disenar mercderia Madre dias inventario). I told her I will be busy with ACE Classes, GED Tutoring (yo decir ella, yo muy ocupado con ACE Clases y ensenar GED). I told her the BOP website problem will be resolved in a few weeks ( yo decir ella, el BOP sitio web querer arreglar en poco semanas). GED/ ESL tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Went to sewing room and finished 4 more dozens of pants – 2 dozens left (ir a cuarto costura a cerrar quatro docens pantalones – dos docens omitir). Census count at 3:30 PM (Contar Censo son las tres media). New inmate showed at the camp at 3:35 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: salad, lasagna, and water. I processed the new inmate after the dinner. ACE Class Geography Mystic Lands 5-5:30 PM and US History 1933 – 1945 6-6:30 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM (lavarse son las nueve). Final Census count at 9:30 PM (Final Contar Censo son las nueve media). Went to bed at 10:00 PM (Acostarse son las diez noche).
Today was a good day: Doris is well and rested. She walked 8021 steps, 16.3 inches step length and symmetry was 89%. yesterday was the 102 nd consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. The dogs are well. Walked 6 miles and split stretched. Attended ACE Classes. GED/ ESL tutoring. Completed hemming four more dozens pants.
