4/29/2024 Monday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 75 degrees F. Started walking at 6:05 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:10 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, brownie, an apple and water.

  2. Call Doris.
  3. Check email from Doris.
  4. Email daily diary for 4/28/2024.
  5. Walk 6 Miles.
  6. Split Stretch.
  7. Quotations.
  8. ACE Classes US History Native Americans 5-5:30 PM and Small Business Workshop 6-6:30 PM.
  9. GED/ ESL Tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM.
  10. FSA Classes Money Smart for older adults 8-9 AM and Parenting 11-12 PM.

The morning started out with the dawn sky already on full display. The sky was clear, the half moon (media Luna) was in the mid sky, it was cool (fresco) and slight breeze (braze). The analogous colors (analogo color) radiated (extenderse) out of the sun’s (sol) path: red (rojo), orange (naranja), yellow (amarillo), light blue, blue (azul) and dark blue sky (azul marino cielo). The rabbits (conejos) were grazing (pastoreo) in the fields (campo), LeBron was grazing on the baseball field. As the sun rise (salida del sol), it brightened (brillante) the sky and warmed (calor) the air. Th rabbits left the soccer field but continue to graze on the baseball field. Completed walking 6 miles (completo caminar seis milla) at 7:50 AM (a las siete cincuenta). Stretched (estirir) and split stretched until 8:10 AM (a las ocho diez). Attended the Money Smart for Older Adults until 9:00 AM. Cleaned the computer room (limpiar cuartido computador). Had a nutty bar, celery (apio), an apple (manzana) for snacks (bocadillo). Secretary Mrs. Chavez informed me that there won’t be any new inmates joining us this week (no Nuevo recluso esta semana). Checked email (correo electronico) from Doris: Doris is well and rested. She walked 7823 steps, 15.6 inches step length and symmetry was 87%. Yesterday was the 98th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She sent funds to my commissary account. Diana will be coming home from Redding today. I told her I will be busy with FSA classes, ACE Classes, GED/ ESL tutoring and hemming pants. Showered (ducharse) and changed to BOP uniform (vestirse la ropa BOP) at 9:30 AM. Talked to Doris at 10:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. She walked outside, let the dogs out and checkered on her tomato plants. I told her I will be busy today as I have FSA classes Money Smart for elder adults 8-9 AM and Parenting 11-12 PM, ACE Classes, GED/ ESL tutoring classes and sewing. I told her I received the funds in my commissary account. She will be waiting for Diana to take the SUV for oil change. She will try to call Marina for lunch. She asked if I have a date for my unit meeting, I told her I have not received any notification yet. The Citibank is still blocked, I told her it will be lifted zoom. I will call her tonight. Lunch was served at 10:30 AM. Luncheon menu: Tacos, rice (arroz), black beans (frijol negro) mixed vegetables (vegetales mezclar), apple (manzana) and water (aqua). Exchanged (cambiar) 3 pair of socks (calcetines) for Mark. FSA parenting class 11-12:00 PM. GED/ESL tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: pull pork sandwich, Cole Slaw, beans, sweet potatoes and water. Completed 3 more dozen pants, 8 dozens remaining. ACE Classes – US History – Native American 5-5:30 PM and Small Business Workshop 6-6:30 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
