4/28/2024 Sunday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 77 degree F. Started walking at 6:20 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:40 AM. Breakfast menu: Grits, brownie, apple and water.

  2. Call Doris.
  3. Check email from Doris.
  4. Email daily diary for 4/27/2024.
  5. Walk 6 Miles.
  6. Split Stretch.
  7. Quotations.
  8. ACE Classes: Advanced Spanish 8:30 – 9:30 AM, Geography Italian Cities 5-5:30 PM and Oceanography 2, 6-7 PM (Hosting).

The morning (madrugada) started out with the dawn sky (cielo) on full display, the half moon (luna menguante) was in the mid sky. The analogous colors were radiating (extenderse) out of the sun’s path: red (rojo), orange (naranja), yellow (amarillo), light blue, Blue (azul) and dark blue sky (azul marino cielo). The rabbits were grazing on the fields (conegos son pastoreo en el campos), Labrona (rabina) was grazing by the basketball court. As the sun rise (salida del sol) over the Sierras, the sunlight (luz del sol) brightened the sky and warmed the air. The rabbits left the soccer but continue (seguir) grazing (pastoreo) by the basketball court. Completed 5 miles of walking and jogged the final mile ( completamente caminar cinco milla y correr ultimo milla) at 8:00 AM (a las ocho) , in 1 hour 11 minutes and 15 seconds (en uno hora once minutos quince segundos). The average walking times (promedio caminar tiempo es) is: 11 minutes and 53 seconds per mile ( once minutos cincuenta y tres segundos por milla) or (o) 1 minute and 59 seconds per lap (uno minuto cincuenta y nueve segundos por vuelta). The pace was fast ( el paso es muy rapido) and I worked up a sweat (sudar). Stretched (estirir) and split stretched at the basketball court in the morning sunshine until 8:30 AM (a las ocho median). Attended Spanish lessons until 9:20 AM (a las nueve viente). Lunch was served at 9:30 AM (hora del alamerzo a las nueve trienta) Luncheon menu: scrambled eggs (huevos revuelos), pancake with syrup (panqueque con jarabe), banana (platano) and water agua. Called Doris at 9:45 AM: Doris is well and rested. She had a good visitation with Quang and Annie. The weather was nice in the Bay area and she inspected the tomato plants and let the dogs out. she walked some outside. She still could not find the analgesic ointment in the garage, so I recommended that she cook up another batch. I told her I already walked 6 miles, attended Spanish class and had our lunch already and well be busy with ACE Classes tonight. and working on my ACE Class Reports. She will work on her mother’s inventory and organize the garage. I told her to send $300 to my commissary account. I had a nutty bar, celery (apio), banana (platano) and an apple (manzana) for snacks (Bocadillo). Checked email from Doris: Doris is well and rested. She walked 7742 steps, 15.6 inches step length and symmetry (simetria) was 78%. Yesterday (ayer) was the 97th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She could not find the analgesic ointment in the garage, I recommended she cook up another batch. Showered (Ducharse) at 11:40 AM and changed to casual clothes(vestirse, ponerse la ropa). Took a short nap. Attended the second Advance Spanish Lesson 2:30 – 3:30 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Parmagiana chicken ( pollo parmagiana), spaghetti (espaguetis), green beans (frijo verde), bread (pan) and water (aqua). ACE Classes – Geography Italian cities 5-5:30 PM and Ocenography 2, 6-7 PM (Hosting). Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.

Today was a good day: Doris is well and rested. She walked 7742 steps, 15.6 Inches step length, symmetry was 78%. yesterday was the 97th consecutive days she closed the ring. The dogs are well. Doris send money to my commissary account. Walked 6 miles and split stretched. Attended and hosted ACE Classes.
