The morning started out dark, hazy, breezy an cool – 57 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, the half moon was in mid sky at 12 o’clock and the breeze made the temperature cooler. The beautiful dawn sky was on display: band of red haze; analogous colors peeking over the Sierras: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky; the half moon was in mid sky it was not moving or setting to the West. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood light turned on, they were testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing on the East end of the soccer field. As the sun rise over the Sierras it illuminated the Sierras giving it depth and it changed colors as it ascended through the haze: red, orange, yellow and bright yellow. The birds and squirrels were waiting for their food. After breakfast inmates left their food on the ground, on the basketball court and at the entrance to the dormitory. The birds and squirrels feasted on their food. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. Completed walking six miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 24 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 24 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap. Talked to Doris at 8:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. She is all set to pick me up tomorrow between 7:30-8:00 AM in the visitors parking lot in the USP. I told her I am not sure when they will cut off my phone and email services today. Stretched, split stretched and practiced yoga at the basketball court until 9:00 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky, colorful sun rise and half moon in mid sky. Opened my eye to the blue sky and half moon in mid sky. Went to library to do some reading. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM: Luncheon menu: chicken tortilla, Cole Slaw, apple and water. Talked to Doris at 11:00 AM: Doris is waiting for Hortencia to pick up some baked buns from Sheng Kee. I was surprised that they have not cut off my phone and email service. Showered and changed to casual clothes at 11:20 AM. Checked email from Doris at 11:40 AM: Doris is well. She walked 9,200 steps, 15.3 inches step length and symmetry was 7.5%.
