The morning started out dark, hazy, light breeze and cool – 47 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, the half moon was in mid sky at 11 o’clock and the breeze made the temperature cooler. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on and they were testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while LaBrona and family were grazing outside the fence. The beautiful dawn sky was on display; red band of haze; analogous colors peeking over the Sierras: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky; the half moon was in mid sky at 11 o’clock. As the sun rise over the Sierras, it illuminated the Sierras giving it depth, it changed colors as it ascended through the haze: red, orange, yellow and bright yellow and it warmed the air. The birds and squirrels were waiting for their food. After breakfast, inmates left their food on the ground, on the basketball court and by the entrance to the dormitory. The birds and squirrels share their food. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. Completed walking six miles at 7:50 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 40 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 26 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 5 seconds per lap. There were more inmates on the trails and so were the squirrels. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 9:20 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. I was as able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky, colorful sun rise and the half moon in mid sky. Opened my eyes to the blue sky and half moon in mid sky, the moon has not moved. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: 2 fried eggs, pancake with syrup, fries, apple and water. Talked to Doris at 9:40 AM: Doris is well and rested. She was sore from her fall yesterday. She enjoyed our visitation yesterday. She told me Norma will be driving her White SUV on 4/22/2025.
