The morning started out dark, hazy, cloudy, breezy and cool – 56 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, heavily overcast except in mid sky, the breeze made the temperature cooler, the 3/4 moon was in mid sky setting towards the West. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood light turned on. They stopped testing their vehicles around 6:30 AM. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing East of the soccer field. Breakfast was served early and no wildlife appeared after breakfast, so inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. Colorful clouds in the overcast sky; dark blue and gray scalloped clouds in the East, white gray clouds in the North and West. As the sun rise all I could see was rays of sunlight piercing through the clouds, clouds in the East were peach/gray colors, clouds in the West were peach/white /gray colors and clouds in the North were peach/white/ light gray and dark gray. The birds appeared and feasted on food left by inmates and foraged in the fields. The squirrels appeared alter after the birds. The rabbits left the soccer and baseball fields after sun rise. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. Completed my laundry at 7:10 AM. Finished walking six miles at 8:00 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 34 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 26 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 5 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 9:00 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the Corpse pose and visualized the colorful morning clouds and the 3/4 moon setting towards the West. Walked another 4 miles until 10:00 AM. Lunch was served at 10:00 AM. Luncheon menu: baked chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy, carrots, bread, blue berry pie and water. Completed walking another 2 miles at 10:50 AM. Talked to Doris at 11:05 AM: Doris is well and rested. It was drizzling and windy in Pinole. She received the home insurance bill, I asked her to pay it. She will stay home to keep dry and warm. I will work on my book reports. Diana will be leaving for Redding. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 11:30 AM. Checked email from Doris at 11:50 AM: Doris is well. She walked 9,214 steps, 15.3 inches step length and symmetry was 7.2%. Yesterday was the 427th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. Had a short nap. Went to library to read. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: turkey, salad, cheese, beet, potatoes soup, bread and water. Talked to R & D staff, he told me to be at the front lobby before 7:15 AM. The guards will notify R & D and they will come to get me into R & D. They usually process us pretty fast and try to get us out before 8:00 AM. Worked on my book report Meaning From Data; Statistics Made Clear Part 2. Census count at 7:00 AM. Census count at 8:00 PM.
