The morning started out dark, cloudy, hazy, breezy and cool – 61 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, sparse clouds in the East and overcast in the mid sky and West, the breeze made the temperature cooler. Breakfast was served early, no birds appeared after breakfast, so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on but they were not testing their vehicles. The rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing East of the soccer field. The beautiful dawn sky was on display; band of red haze amid the sparse clouds; analogous colors peeking over the Sierras amid the clouds: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky; the full moon amid the clouds in the West. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. As the sun rise over the Sierras it was a colorful display of clouds; peach gray clouds with golden edges near the suns while distance clouds were peach and peach gray colors; the moon was setting to the West and was shielded by the clouds. The birds and the squirrels appeared and they feasted on the food left by the inmates and the birds foraged in the fields. Today was GED examination and we had to ensure that students show up for the examination. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 24 seconds.
