4/13/2024 Saturday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 69 degrees F. Started walking at 6:20 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:10 AM. Breakfast menu: Oatmeal, muffin, as apple and water.

- Stretch.
- Call Doris.
- Check email from Doris.
- Email daily diary for 4/12/2024.
- Walk 6 miles.
- Split Stretch.
- Quotations.
- ACE Classes Neuroscience 5-6 PM (Hosting) and US History 1604 – 1800 6-6:30 PM.
The morning started out overcast to the East, clearing in middle to Western sky,the wind was blowing at about 15 mph but it was cool. AS the sky got brighter, the Eastern sky over the Sierras was covered with thick stratus cumulus clouds, layers of alto cirrus clouds in the middle sky which were tinted with peach and cream color, the sky was blue followed with a lighter shade of blue, and sea foam green. As the wind blew the clouds towards the East, it was different display of colors with different shades of blue and the alto cirrus clouds were tinted with peach and cream colors. The sun finally cleared the clouds. The sun was out but more clouds were moving from the West and Northwest. Finished walking at 8:00 AM, in 1 hour 12 minutes and 12 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 12 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes and 1 second per lap (vuelta). The rabbits were still grazing by the fence at the soccer and baseball fields. Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in the morning sunshine until 8:20 AM. Went to Spanish lessons. Checked email from Doris at 9:20 AM: Doris is well , she did not sleep well last night. She walked 7528 steps, 16.3 Inches step length, symmetry was 74%. Yesterday was her 82nd consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She planned to visit me on 4/20/2024. Norma will have surgery and her friend will bring Doris to visitation. She read my ACE Class report on Oceanography and enjoyed it. Th sun was shielded by the cumulus clouds. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: scrambled eggs, pancake and syrup, fries, banana and water. Talked to Doris at 9:50 AM: Doris is well nut she did not sleep well last night. She talked to Eric and Eric assured her he will help. She will visit me on 4/20/2024. Norma’s friend will bring her to visitation as Norma has a surgery. She was worried but was reassured after talking to him. She read my ACE Class report Oceanography and liked it. I told her I will be busy with more ACE Class reports. She finished her design and will put it on ETSY. She was very tired and will take a nap. Census count at 10:00 AM. Got a hair cut form Jon. Showered at 10:40 AM and changed to BOP uniform. It started raining at 11:00 AM. Had a short nap. Went to library to work on my ACE Class Report. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Meatloaf, rice, corn, bread and water. It started raining at 11:00 AM and it just kept raining. Went to library to work on ACE Class report. ACE Class – Neuroscience 1, 5-6 PM (Hosting) and US History 1604 – 1800 6-6:30 PM. Completed ACE Class Report on Culinary Class. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
