The morning started out dark, cloudy, hazy, breezy and cool – 63 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, sparse wind swept clouds in the East, Northern and Western horizons, the breeze made the temperature cooler. The autonomous car company had their flood lights turned on but not their facility lights and they were not testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, Labrona and family were grazing on the soccer field too. The beautiful dawn sky was on display; reddish orange band of haze amid the clouds; analogous colors over the Sierras amid the sparse clouds: red, orange, yellow, cream, white, light blue and blue sky; clouds in the Eastern horizon looked liked peach puffs while clouds in the North and Western horizon were peach, mauve and gray colors. Breakfast was served early , no birds appeared after breakfast, so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. As the sun rise over the Sierras it dodged in and out of the clouds, it was hazy until it cleared the haze and clouds, it was a colorful display of clouds in the sky. The birds appeared and feasted on their food and foraged in the fields. I walked on the soccer field trail. Completed walking six miles at 7:30 AM. in 1 hour 14 minutes and 27 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 25 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 5 seconds per lap. Attended EBRR Class Anger Management 7:30-8:10 AM. I submitted my assignments to Ms. Cota. I will receive my credit for the class but not sure when she will issue my completion certificate. Stretched, split stretched and practiced yoga at the basketball court until 9:00 AM. Walked six more miles until 10:20 AM. They were grading the infield of the baseball court. The squirrels were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields. The autonomous car company was not testing their vehicles. Lunch was served at 10:25 AM. Luncheon menu: fried fish sandwich, macaroni and cheese, green beans, bread, pear puree and water. Talked to Doris at 11:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. The weather was nice in Pinole and the dogs were belly tanning in the back yard. She will stay home to clean the yards. GSW is playing the Portland Trailblazers tonight. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 11:30 AM. I was assigned a bunk mate Vello. I had a short nap. Vello moved his stuff into the upper bunk and to his locker. Checked email from Doris at 12:30 PM. Doris is well. She walked 9,604 steps, 16.3 inches step length and symmetry was 7.1%. Yesterday was the 421st consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She reminded me we have one more visit before I go to the half way house on 4/22/2025. Got rid of some of my books and gave a 3 ring binder to Shane. Donated several of my books to the library. Went to library to work on my book reports. Census count at 3:30 PM.
