No call out for Dublin orderlies. The morning started out dark, sparse clouds, hazy, light fog and cool – 62 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy with plumes of dark smoke, sparse clouds in teh Eastern and Western horizons, light fog with visibility of over 2 miles. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on but they were not testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing inside the fence near the soccer field. The dawn sky was on display; band of red haze amid the clouds; analogous colors peeking over the Sierras: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky; clouds near the suns path were peach/mauve colors while clouds in the West were pastel colors. Early breakfast, no birds appeared after breakfast, so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. As the sun rise over the Sierras the clouds on its path were yellow with golden edges, clouds in the West were pastel colors, the red sphere changed colors as it ascended through the haze and clouds: red, orange, yellow and bright yellow, the sun was hazy as it ascended. I walked on the soccer field trail as the baseball field was partially flooded when some inmates left the water on all night to water the field. Birds appeared and feasted on the food left by the inmates and foraged in the fields. Completed walking six miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 30 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 25 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 5 seconds per lap. Today was commissary day and several inmates queued up for their groceries. I got my groceries yesterday. Stretched, split stretched and practiced yoga at the basketball court until 8:40 AM. Walked and additional six miles. The squirrels were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields. The autonomous car company was testing their vehicles. Completed walking 12 miles at 10:15 AM. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: baked chicken, sweet potatoes, rice, bread and water. We were allowed to go back to the dormitory at 11:00 AM. I did my laundry. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 11:20 AM. Checked email from Doris at 11:40 AM: Doris is well and rested. She walked 9,446 steps, 16.2 inches step length and symmetry was 7.5%. Yesterday was the 420th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. Diana is coming by to take Doris to her appointment with Dr Yang at 11:00 AM. She will probably be done by 1:00 PM. Unfortunately, GSW lost to the San Antonio Spurs last night. Had a short. Finished my Laundry. Found out that the second chance act 1 year half way house time was restored. So my half way house date of 4/22/2025 remains. Talked to Doris at 1:30 PM. Doris just got back from the doctor’s appointment and lunch with Diana. Dr Yang wrote the letter for Doris. I told her nothing has changed and my half way house date is still scheduled for 4/22/2025. My legs were sore from walking all the extra mileage. I applied some analgesic and it felt better. Went to library to work on my ACE Class Report Spanish. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: chicken tortilla, rice, corn, apple puree and water. completed my ACE Class Report Spanish and submitted it to Prison Professor and Doris. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
