The morning started out dark but cool. the Dawn sky quickly emerged, the beautiful analogous colors over the Sierras: Red, Orange, yellow, cream, light blue, blue and dark blue sky. No sign of the crescent moon and no clouds in the sky, except haze which gives the analogous colors. The rabbits were grazing on the field, Labrona and her juvenile rabbits were grazing by the basketball court. As the morning progressed, the analogous colors grew lighter to pastel colors and the rabbits left the field, but Labrona and her rabbits stayed near the basketball court. As the sun emerged over the Sierras, the golden sphere brightened the sky and warmed the air. Walking in the morning sunshine was refreshing. Finished walking 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 6 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 11 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes and 2 seconds per lap (vuelta). It was a good pace. Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in the morning sunshine until 8:10 AM. Cleaned the computer room. Checked email from Doris: Doris is well and rested. She walked 8531 steps, 15.8 Inches step length and symmetry was 78th consecutive days she closed the ring. She has all the vehicle registration and insurance for the vehicles. She submitted the required information to Thomas Johnson, hopefully we hear something good from him. She read my ACE Class Report on Dark Matter, Dark Energy and said it was too technical for her. She will be busy working on her inventory. I had some donuts, chips and an apple for snacks. Fed the apple core to Labrona.. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:20 AM. Secretary Mrs. Chavez informed me that we won’t have any new inmates until next week. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: Chicken parmigiana, spaghetti with marinara sauce, bread, spinach an apple and water. Talked to Doris at 10:35 AM: Doris is well and rested. She asked about the sprinkler system for the tomato plants. I told her there are two sets of valves she has to turn on: one is by the faucet under the awning, she has to physically turn it on and the seconds one is on the beam under the awning, it has to be turned to “Auto”, then the system should work. It is set to irrigate at 6:30 AM in the morning. She can also call Quang or Kein for her with the Sprinkler system. She has a call into Thomas Johnson to see what is the latest development as she needs to pay the bills. She asked about my meeting with Case Manager Mr Larsen. I told her I have to queue up to talk to him, as lots of inmates wants to talk to him too. I told her I will inform her if I meet with him. She was anxious about my early release to the half way house. Unfortunately, Mr. Larsen was not in the office today. GED/ ESL Tutoring was cancelled as some students had to take the pre GED examination. Completed ACE Class Report – Geography Asia, submitted it to Prison Professor and Doris. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: pull pork sandwich, spinach, rice, bread and water. ACE Classes – Stress and Your Body Part 2, 5-6 PM (Hosting) and US History 6-6:30 PM.
