The morning call out for Dublin orderlies at 5:00 AM. They were headed out at 5:40 AM. The morning started out dark, hazy, sparse clouds, breezy and cold – 54 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, sparse clouds in the East, West and Northern horizons, the strong breeze made the temperature felt cold. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on. They were testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing inside the fence near the basketball court. Breakfast was served early, no birds appeared after breakfast, so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. The beautiful dawn sky was on display; band of red haze partially covered by the sparse clouds; analogous colors amid the sparse clouds: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky; streaks of dark blue and gray clouds in the East, light gray and white clouds in the North and West. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. As the sun rise over the Sierras it was partially shielded by the sparse clouds, clouds in its path were peach/ white colors while distance clouds were peach/mauve colors, it illuminated the Sierras giving it depth. The birds appeared after sun rise and feasted on food left by the inmates and foraged in the fields. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 36 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 26 seconds per mile of 2 minutes and 5 seconds per lap. Went back to the dormitory to get my books, journals, snacks, Certificates that needed CO Johnson’s signature and vacated the dormitory. The squirrels were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields. The autonomous car company was busy testing their vehicles. Lunch was served at 10:25 AM.
