4/7/2024 Sunday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:40 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 69 degrees F. Started walking at 6:50 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:40 AM. Breakfast menu: cereal, muffin, banana and water.

The gate was locked because the CO was late. Completed Book Report – An Immense World and submitted to Prison professor and Doris. Started walking after breakfast, the sun was already out. the sky was bright and the air was warm. The rabbits were no where in sight but Labrona and her juvenile rabbits were grazing at the basketball court near the baseball diamond. It was a nice and refreshing walk in the sunshine with a slight breeze. Finished walking 6 miles at 8:05 AM, in 1 hour 12 minutes and 30 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 5 seconds per mile (milla) or 49 seconds per lap (vuelta). Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court until 8:30 AM. Had nutty bar, celery and a banana for snacks. Checked email form Doris: Doris is well and rested. She had a good visitation yesterday and she closed the ring. She walked 7811 steps, 15.5 inches step length and 87% symmetry. Yesterday was her 76th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. They were late getting home last night dur to traffic and detour to deliver a package. It was cold in the Bay Area and she will walk indoors unless it get warmer. They had a 3,3 magnitude earthquake yesterday. She will stay at home to work on her inventory and watch the GSW / Utah game tonight. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: scrambled eggs, fries, an apple, toast with syrup and water. I fed the apple core to Labrona. Talked to Doris at 9:45 AM: Doris is well and rested. She was tired after closing the ring. She had a good visit and was surprised that CO Johnson knew me. She got all the information needed to submit to Thomas Johnson. Francis cooked dinner last night but Doris had to do the dishes. I told her I will work on: book report, class report, attend and host ACE Classes tonight. She will walk indoors to close the ring and work on her Mother’s day inventory. She already read my Book Report on An Immense World and she liked how each animal survive their environment by developing their sensory. i Told her they have been developing it for millions of years. I will call her tonight. census count at 10:00 AM. Showered and changed to BOP uniform. Had a short nap. Went to library to work on my book and class reports, and quizzes for classes. Completed Book Report on Introduction to Infectious Disease. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: BBQ shredded chicken, Cole Slaw, baked potatoes, bread and water. ACE Classes – Geography Italian Cities 5-5:30 PM and Oceanography 2, 6-7 PM (Hosting). Submitted the Book Report on Infectious Diseases to Prison Professor and Doris Yong. Census count at 6:30 PM. Census count at 7:30 PM. Cleaned up at 10:00 PM
