The morning started out dark, hazy, light breeze, spares clouds and cold – 44 degrees F. The lower was hazy, sparse clouds in the East and mid sky, the breeze made the temperature colder. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood light turned on and they were not testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing inside the fence near the soccer field. The beautiful dawn sky was on display; band of red haze over the Sierras; analogous colors peeking over the Sierras: red, orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky; peach colored clouds in the East and peach/mauve clouds in the mid sky. As the sun rise over the Sierras, it illuminated the Sierras and the red sphere changed colors as it ascended through the haze; red, orange, yellow and bright yellow. Birds were waiting for the food after breakfast and inmates discarded their food on the ground and on the basketball court. I walked on the soccer field trail. Completed walking 4 miles and jogged the final two miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 28 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 25 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 5 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced yoga at the basketball court in the morning sunshine until 8:50 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the cold morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and the colorful sun rise. Opened my eyes to the bright sunny blue sky. Talked to Doris at 8:50 AM: They are on their way and ETA is 10:30-11:00 AM. Showered and changed to BOP uniform. Checked email from Doris at 9:20 AM: Doris is well. She walked 9,484 steps, 17.2 inches step length and symmetry was 7.4%. Yesterday was the 415th consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. She is visiting today. Lunch was served at 9:30 AM. Luncheon menu: nachos, grounded beef, rice, corn, cheese, salsa, pear and water. Census count at 10:00 AM. Watched the GSW replay on television. Doris arrived at the visitation center at 10:30 AM: Doris is well and rested. We had Dr Pepper, potatoes chips, Hershey chocolate bar, Twix candy bar and water for snacks. Doris updated me on our house hold finances. She had a pending bill from Visa and I asked her to pay it. She will hire Eric to clean the yard for $100. I suggested she get an estimate from him to clean the entire yard, hopefully for $500. She found several web site for me to get my teaching credentials. Geok is in London and they will be going to Nepal in late April with Patches. She is getting letters from her doctors for me to submit to the half way house manager. She packed most of my clothes. We will have one more visitation before my departure to the half way house. I might not have access to the phone or email on 4/21/2025 because of the cut off date to prepare my debit card and documents. I will have to spend the first 72 hours in the half way house. But if they send me home, I could always take an Uber or Cab home. Hortencia will bring Doris to her Doctor’s appointment because Diana will be out of town. Doris left the visitation rom at 2:50 PM, as Christina was late getting back to pick her up. We had a very good visitation. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: shredded chicken, corn, rice, bun and water. Watched some NCAA basketball finals. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
