4/4/2024 Thursday daily diary from Atwater Camp.
Woke up at 5:30 AM. Made up my bed, cleaned up, changed to BOP uniform and made a cup of coffee. Stretched, drank my coffee and watched the local news and weather report, high temperature for today is 59 degrees F. Started walking at 6:20 AM. Breakfast was served at 6:10 AM. Breakfast menu: Cereal, muffin, apples and water.

The morning started with the emerging dawn sky, thick stratus cumulus clouds that covered the mid sky to the Sierras, a patch of clearing from Mid to the Western sky, it was display of different shades of gray clouds. The clouds were moving form West to the East, headed toward the Sierras. The rabbits were grazing on the field and Labrona and her rabbits were grazing at the basketball court near the Baseball diamond. The sun was shielded by the thick cumulus clouds in the early morning, but some of the alto clouds were illuminated and were tinted peach color. The rabbits left the field, so did Labrona and her rabbits. the sun finally peeked over the cumulus clouds and brightened the sky and warmed the air. the sun was only visible for about 30 minutes before the clouds moved it to shield it. Completed walking 6 miles at 8:00 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 6 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 11 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes and 2 seconds per lap (Vuelta). Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in partial sunshine until 8:30 AM. Had some chip, Cheez it and an apple for snacks. Fed the apple core to Labrona. Jon picked up the completed pants and delivered 18 more dozens of pants to hem. Cleaned the computer room. Checked email from Doris: Doris is well but she did not have a good sleep last night as she was ruminating. She walked 8219 steps, 15.8 Inches step length and symmetry was 87%. Yesterday was the 73rd consecutive days she closed the ring. Showered and changed to BOP uniform at 9:30 AM. Lunch was served at 10:15 AM. Luncheon menu: baked chicken, macaroni and cheese, mixed vegetables, muffin and water. Talked to Doris at 10:35 AM: Doris is well but did not have a good sleep. She walked 8219 steps, 15.8 Inches step length and symmetry was 87%. Yesterday was her 73rd consecutive days she closed the ring on her iPhone. It was drizzling in the Bay Area and she will be walking indoors. The dogs are well and they are sheltering in their dog house. She will be busy working on her Mother’s day Inventory. I told her Jon delivered 18 more dozens of pants for hemming. She asked if anyone is helping me, I am not optimistic if anyone is helping me, as my help has a sore throat since the weekend. She said it is up to Speedy Yong to complete the task. I told her I will have it done by next week. She planned on visiting on 4/6/2024. She will walk in the house to close the ring. I will call her tonight. Went to sewing room to hem two dozens pants. GED/ ESL Tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM. Went to sewing room and completed another 2 dozens pants. Census count at 3:30 PM. Did my laundry. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: shredded chicken, rice, beans and water. Brought some cleaned blankets and uniforms to the sewing room. Finished hemming two more dozens pants, total of 6 dozens for today. ACE Classes Dark Matter, Dark Energy 5-6 PM (Hosting) and Culinary Class 6-6:30 PM. Census count at 7:00 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
