The morning started out dark, hazy, light fog, cloudy, light breeze and cool 52 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, cloudy in the Eastern horizon with some clearing and sparse clouds in the mid sky, light fog with visibility of over 5 miles and light breeze made the temperature cooler. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on and they were testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields. The beautiful dawn sky was on display; band of red haze amid the cloud clearing; dark blue clouds over the Sierras followed by layers of cream, light green, light blue and blue sky and scalloped clouds in mid sky. No wildlife appeared after breakfast, so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. As the sun rise over the Sierras the sun rays radiated through the cloud clearings and turned the clouds on it path to peach color with golden edges, it illuminated the sky and it dodged in and out of the clouds until it cleared it. The birds appeared around 7:10 AM, they feasted on food left by the inmates and foraged in the fields. Completed walking three miles and jogged the final three miles at 7:25 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 18 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 23 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap. Attended the EBRR Class Anger Management 7:30-8:30 AM. CO Cota issued my completion certificates for Trauma Part 2 and Basic Cognition Skills. She also assigned lots of homework for us. Stretched and split stretched until 9:00 AM. They assigned some people to replace some of the Dublin Orderlies. I met with Mr. Larsen about my half way house departure. He informed me that they might send me to home confinement after a short stay. Also I could expedite it if we could get letters from Doris’s doctors that she needed me to take her to her doctor’s appointments, i.e. Dr Yang, Dr jasmine Lee, Dr Lee and her eye doctor in Walnut Creek. He also requested a Oakland half way house handbook for me. Had a short nap. GED tutoring 12:00-1:30 PM. GED Class 1:30-2:30 PM. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count.
