Started my laundry at 5:30 AM. Breakfast was served early, no wildlife appeared so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. The morning started out dark, hazy, light fog, light breeze, cloudy and cool 55 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, cloudy in the Southeast and mid sky, light fog with visibility of over 5 miles, light breeze and cool. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on and they were testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing inside the fence near the soccer field. The beautiful dawn sky was on display; band of red haze; dark blue cloud followed by creamed colored sky and layered with light green, white and dark blue clouds; the crescent moon was over the Southeastern horizon and more scalloped clouds were moving in. As the sky brightened, patches of cream colored clouds appeared over the Sierras and a layer of light brown followed by a layer of dark gray, gray and white clouds. I walked on the soccer field trail. Completed walking three miles and jogged the final three miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour and 14 minutes and 12 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 22 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap. Finished my laundry at 7:50 AM. The birds appeared around 7:05 AM and they feasted on food left by the inmates and foraged in the fields. As the sun rise over the Sierras around 7:10 AM, it was shielded by the clouds, it brightened the sky and finally cleared the clouds at 7:30 AM. As it ascended it dodged in and out of the scalloped clouds. Stretched, split stretched and practiced yoga at the basketball court until 9:00 AM. The stretch an Yoga practice felt good after the morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky; colorful display of clouds and the crescent moon in the Southeastern horizon. Opened my eyes to the cloudy sky. Today was commissary day and inmates were queued up to get their groceries. I did not get anything form the commissary. Talked to Doris at 9:00 AM: Doris is well and rested. It was cloudy and cool in Pinole. The cleaners were coming over to clean the house today. She will clean the yard and work on her Mother’s day inventory.
