The morning started out dark but cool, in the 50’s. The sky was clear with only a few whiffs of cirrusclouds over the Sierras and in the mid sky, the moon was big and round in the Western sky. The rabbits were grazing on the field and Labrona was grazing by the basketball court near the trails while her juvenile rabbits were chasing each other. As the dawn Sky emerged the analogous colors radiated out from the sun’s path: red. orange, yellow, cream, light green, light blue, blue and dark blue sky. The whiffs of cirrus clouds started out as gray and turned to mauve, red, pink and orange tint. The analogous colors turned to pastels. As the sun rise over the Sierras, the big golden sphere was bright and the whiffs of clouds turned to lighter colors and was slowly burnt off by the sun, that was a new pattern I have seen. The sun brightened the sky and warmed the air. All the rabbits left the field and basketball court. Walked 5.5 miles and jogged the final half mile, completed walking at 7:50 AM, in 1 hour 11 minutes and 43 seconds. Average walking times were: 11 minutes and 57 seconds per mile (milla) or 1 minutes and 59 seconds per lap (vuelta). The pace was pretty fast as I worked up a sweat. Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in the morning sun until 8:20 AM. I did not get anything form the commissary as the things I wanted were out of stock and I still have lots of food stuff. I have been cutting back on the soft drinks and snack items. Cleaned the computer room. Checked email from Doris: Doris is well but she has anxiety issue with tax preparation today. I told her not to worry about it too much, as Sushma can estimate it for us. She will go shopping after taxes and also get some lunch. She walked 7571 steps, 15.6 inches step length and symmetry was 88%. Yesterday was the 65 th consecutive days she closed the ring. I had a nutty bar, cheezit and an apple for snacks. Counselor Reyes told me there won’t be any new inmates joining us hopefully until 4/1/2024 when the next bus arrives. Showered at 9:20 AM and changed to BOP uniform. Lunch was served at 10:15 AM. Luncheon menu: hamburger, fries, an apple and water. Talked to Doris at 10:35 AM: Doris is well, she recovered from the cold and cough. She has an appointment with the tax preparer at 1:00 PM today. She was a little anxious, I told her not to, as Sushma can always estimate the missing documents. She went outside to check out the tomato plants but it was too cold for her, so she decided to walk inside. She walked 7571 steps, 15.6 inches step length and symmetry was 88%. Yesterday was the 65th consecutive days she closed the ring. She is going shopping with Diana after tax preparation. They are going to Ranch 99 or 99 Cents Store to get some fruits and flowers for the Altar. She was confident she will close the ring today. She asked me about hemming pants for the penitentiary, I told her Saetern will be helping me cut and hem the pants. I told her I will be busy with GED/ ESL tutoring and extra help preparing for the examination on Friday., hosting and attending ACE Classes and hemming pants. She inquired if Counselor Reyes has approved her new ID, I told her it will probably be next week before he approves it. She will email me after taxes and shopping. I will Call her tonight/ GED/ ESL Tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM. The GED tutoring went well, students are slowly picking up Algebraic Functions. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count. Dinner menu: Pizza, spaghetti and marinara sauce, salad and water. Went to sewing room: exchange laundry bags for Freddie, exchanged 5 large Boxers for Castleneda, exchanged 4 XL boxers and 4 pair of socks for Torres and hemmed pants. ACE Class History of Great Art 2, 6-7 PM (Hosting). Census count at 6:30 PM. Census count at 8:00 PM. Cleaned up at 9:00 PM. Final Census count at 9:30 PM. Went to bed at 10:00 PM.
