The morning started out dark, hazy, light fog and cool – 56 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, light fog with visibility of over 5 miles, the crescent moon was in mid sky at 9 o’clock. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood light turned on. They were maintaining their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing inside the fence near the soccer field. The beautiful dawn sky was on display; band of red haze; analogous colors peeking over the Sierras: red, orange, yellow. light green, light blue and blue sky; the crescent moon was in mid sky at 9 o’clock. The direction of the moon has been drifting Southwards daily. Some birds appeared after breakfast and feasted on food discarded by inmates and foraged in the fields. As the sun rise over the Sierras; it illuminated the Sierras giving it depth; brightened the sky; the crescent moon was in mid sky; and it warmed the air. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. Completed walking two miles and jogged the final four miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 42 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 16 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 3 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court in the morning sunshine until 8:50 AM. The stretch and yoga practice felt good in the warm morning sunshine. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky, spectacular sun rise and crescent moon in mid sky. Opened my eyes to the sunny blue sky.
