The morning started out partially cloudy, light fog, hazy, light breeze and cold – 44 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, light clouds on the Eastern horizon, light fog with visibility of over 5 miles, and the light breeze made the temperature colder. The beautiful dawn sky was on display; reddish orange band of haze; analogous colors peeking over the Sierras: red, orange yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky, the 1/2 moon in mid sky at 10 o’clock and sparse clouds in Eastern horizon were peach and mauve colors. No wildlife appeared after breakfast, so inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. As the sun rise over the Sierras, it illuminated the Sierras, clouds near the sun were peach color with golden edges, the 1/2 moon was in mid sky at 10 o’clock and it warmed the air. I walked the trails on the soccer and baseball fields. The birds appeared and they feasted on the food left by the inmates and foraged in the fields. Completed walking two mile and jogged the final four miles at 7:50 AM, in hour 14 minutes and 15 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 23 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap. They were only a couple of inmates on the walking trails this morning, they were probably sleeping in. Stretched, split stretched and practiced yoga at the basketball court until 9:00 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice felt good after the cold morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky, spectacular sun rise and the 1/2 moon in mid sky. Opened my eyes to the sunny blue sky. Talked to Doris at 9:10 AM: Doris is well and rested. We had a very good visitation yesterday. She will be lazing around the house today. I will be busy with my EBRR Class reports and assignments.
