The morning call out for Dublin orderlies at 5:00 AM. They were headed out at 5:30 AM. The morning started out dark, hazy, light fog, breezy and cold – 44 degrees F. The lower atmosphere was hazy, light with visibility of over 5 miles, the breeze made the temperature colder. The half moon was in mid sky at 11 o’clock. The autonomous car company had their facility and flood lights turned on, they were testing their vehicles. Rabbits were grazing on the soccer and baseball fields, while Labrona and family were grazing by the fence near the soccer field. Early breakfast, no wildlife appeared after breakfast, so the inmates left their food on the ground and on the basketball court. The beautiful dawn sky was on display; orange reddish band of haze; analogous colors peeking over the Sierras: orange, yellow, light green, light blue and blue sky; sparse clouds near the suns path were peach colored while clouds further away were pink and mauve colors; the 1/2 moon was in mid sky at 11 o’clock. I walked on the soccer field trail. As the sun rise over the Sierras; it illuminated the Sierras giving it depth and revealed some snow capped mountains; it changed colors as it ascended through the haze: orange, yellow and bright yellow. The birds appeared and feasted on food left by the inmates and foraged in the fields. Completed walking 6 miles at 7:40 AM, in 1 hour 14 minutes and 24 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 24 seconds per mile or 2 minutes and 4 seconds per lap. Stretched, split stretched and practiced Yoga at the basketball court until 8:50 AM. The stretch and Yoga practice in the warm sunshine felt good after the cold morning walk. I was able to exercise all phases: strength, flexibility, balance and breathing. Finished my Yoga practice with the corpse pose and visualized the beautiful dawn sky and spectacular sun rise. Opened my eyes to the bright blue sky. Talked to Doris at 9:05 AM: Doris is well and rested. She had a good rest after watching the GSW victory over the Milwaukee Bucks. She read all my journals submitted.
