The morning started out dark but cool, in the 50’s. The Northern Star was visible but not the moon. As the dawn sky emerged, analogous colors: brown, red, orange, yellow, white, light blue, blue and dark blue radiated out of the path of the sun. The rabbits were grazing on the field while Labrona and her juvenile rabbits were grazing by the basketball court. As the morning progressed, the analogous colors grew brighter and the lighter turning to pastel colors. The fog rolled into the camp, it lasted for about 15 minutes and it moved away. The big bright golden sphere rise over the Sierras, it brightened the sky and warmed the air. All the rabbits left the field, but Labrona and her juvenile rabbits were still grazing by the basketball court. The warm sunlight felt good. Finished walking 6 miles at 7:50 AM, in 1 hour 13 minutes and 53 seconds. Average walking times were: 12 minutes and 11 seconds per mile (milla) or 2 minutes 2 seconds per lap (vuelta). Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court in the morning sunshine until 8:20 AM. Had some popcorn, apples and chocolate for snacks. Cleaned the computer room. Checked email from Doris: She is well, her cough and cold have improved. She slept well last night. Francis is leaving for Alaska on Thursday. She is scheduled to visit on 3/23/2024, Norma is giving her a ride. Today was the first day of spring. We had a fog recall and Census count at 9:30 AM. Brought some cleaned uniforms and blankets to the sewing room, exchanged T-shirts and socks for Eric and customized pants for Jesse. Lunch was served at 10:15 AM. Luncheon menu: chicken sandwich, beans, rice and water. Talked to Doris at 10:30 AM: Doris is well and getting better with her cold and cough. She slept well after walking 8166 Steps, 16.4 inches step length and 87% symmetry. Yesterday was the 57th consecutive days she closed the ring on the iPhone. I told her she usually sleeps well after walking over 8000 steps with the exception on that day which I did not call her. She feels good that she could sleep well. Hopefully, Diana will take her to Home Depot to shop for plants. She was hoping to do that yesterday, but Diana said it was too late. Her new glasses are helping her see better. She watched the GSW / Knicks game and she knew GSW was going to lose. I told her I will be busy with ACE Classes, GED/ ESL tutoring and some customized sewing. She will be busy working in her sewing room. I told her to go walking outside but she said it was too cold, she rather walk inside and not risk catching a cold. The dogs are well and they are running around in the backyard. She has scheduled to visit me on 3/23/2024 Saturday. She will work in her sewing room and close the ring today. I went to the sewing room to complete my sewing assignment. GED/ ESL Tutoring 12:00 – 2:30 PM. The tutoring session went well. Census count at 3:30 PM. Dinner was served after the count.
