The morning started out dark but cool, in the 50’s. There was no sign of the moon in the sky. The rabbits were out grazing in the field. No sign of Labrona and her rabbits. As the dawn sky appeared, the analogous colors radiated out from the path of the sun; red, orange, yellow, blue and dark blue sky, truncated by whiffs of cirrus clouds in the mid sky. As the morning progressed, the analogous colors grew to red, orange, yellow, cream, light green, light blue, blue and dark blue. The whiffs of clouds were turned to peach puff color. The rabbits in the field left and Labrona and its juvenile rabbits appeared by the basketball court. As the bright golden sphere emerged over the Sierras, it brightened up the sky and warmed the air. The warm sunlight felt good. Finished walking 6 miles at 7:45 AM, in 1 hour 11 minutes and 41 seconds. Average walking times were: 11 minutes and 59 seconds per mile (milla) or 1 minutes and 59 seconds per lap (vuelta). Stretched and split stretched at the basketball court until 8:15 AM. Cleaned the computer room. Checked email from Doris: Doris is well and she walked 7811 Steps, 15.7 Inches step length and symmetry was 87%. Yesterday was the 56 th days she closed the ring. She liked the ACE Class Report on Stress and Your Body Part 2. I told her to use the information to help her deal with stress. Also close the ring today. had a nutty bar, an apple and chocolates for snacks. Fed the apple core to Labrona. Counselor Reyes told me there won’t be any new inmates until 3/26/2024 unless there is a bus coming in. I asked him to look out for Doris new ID, he said he will approve it when he gets it. Showered at 9:20 AM and changed to BOP uniform. Talked to Doris at 9:50 AM: Doris is well but still have a cold and cough. She had a good night rest yesterday after all the walking. She walked 7811 steps, 15.7 Inches step length and 87% symmetry. This is the 56 th Consecutive days she closed the ring. She said she walked and felt a lot better this morning. Her steps were stronger and more normal. I told her all the hard work is slowly paying off. She read my ACE Class Report several times and she liked it, as it applies to us. She has an appointment with Dr Jasmine Lee for her 3 Months follow up examination. She also has to pick up her new glasses. I told her the new glasses should help her see better. She is also hoping to have lunch and go to Home Depot to get some plants. But there might not be enough time to do all the errands. She was very happy that her walking especially over the threshold has improved today. She said she will close the ring today. I reminded her that her daily walking is helping her gait and also is an outlet to release her stress. I told her I have to go to lunch. I will call her tonight. Lunch was served at 10:20 AM. Luncheon menu: burrito, beans, tortilla, an apple and water. Went to the sewing room to: exchange t Shirts for Joker, Exchanged T shirts and belt for Armand, exchanged 2X t shirts, socks and towels for Gilbert and some repairs for Rickey.
